Good Quality Air cooler for a decent price!
I purchased this Air Cooler on the 11th May. Arrived in perfect condition the next day. Followed the very clear and simple instructions provided within the box which took 5-10 mins max to get it set up.Initially was very sceptical about how effective this Air cooler would be however I am very overwhelmed at how good it is. The item comes with 2 Ice packs which need freezing on arrival and a detachable section to insert water if wanted. The Air cooler works well without using the water system just like a typical fan would but you would be greatly surprised at how good the ice cold water helps the Air cooler blow chilly air around the room.Iâve since bought further Ice packs and now run the Air cooler with 4 ice packs at a time with another 4 in the freezer so I can swap and change without delay. A typical fan will blow ambient temperature air in your direction giving you a feeling that youâre cooling down however if you sit in front of this for a few minutes with it running on max fan speed + ice water it gets very chilly!! Yes itâs not going to be anywhere near a fully installed AC Unit but for the UK thatâs perhaps a bit over the top in my opinion.I use this item in a relatively small room 13m x 9m and after approx 1-2 hours there is a good noticeable difference in temperature compared to other rooms in the house. Sort of feels like walking into a small chiller room if youâve ever experienced that. No more sweaty nights and itâs really quiet on Sleep mode so doesnât keep you awake if youâre a light sleeper.Have used previous Dreo Heaters in the past so I know the brand can deliver good products and this is another great example. Very pleased.

Great tower fan with the added benefit of evaporative cooling.Pros – lightweight and energy efficientlooks good (in black)moves a lot of airCons -only drops the air temperature by 2-3Ccooling pads are a little small are made of a fibre/cardboard type material not metal therefore hard to cleanthe fan can get a musty smell which can be fixed by using chlorine tabletsMajor design flaw – in order to remove the tank, you have to disconnect the pump from the bottom. Conversely, when the tank is refilled, you have to reseat the pump at the bottom of the tank which involves submerging your arm in ice cold water.?!? This can be avoided by filling with a large watering can type jug

What a waste of money!!!! Did not have high expectations but this unit is NOT cooling at all, just circulates the hot air like any other but much cheaper cooling fan.

So far so good! Had it for a few weeks now. Setting 1 is already cool and the air flow is a lot, but itâs quiet at the same time! Itâs not too hot where I live yet, but this should help a lot if there are any heatwaves over the summer. It cools you down! I havenât tried the ice packs yet for cooler AC air, but Iâm sure it works well.

Provides good circulation of air and feel of breeze during hot days. in the evening if put close to the balcony quickly brings fresh air fast and cools the rooms. Didn’t see much difference with or without water and ice packages. Initially there may be short cooler breeze but ice melts quickly. Does not bring the temperature down as it is just a ventilator.
