Not quite âthe worldâ but multiple countries. Seems well made. Quite thick brass connections.
This âWorld to UKâ adapter is good for visitors from many countries to the UK with the important exception of Schuko plugs, used in most European countries, though they also use Europlugs for low power devices and they do fit. Indian and obviously normal South African plugs also donât fit.The newer style South African and Brazilian plugs fit, as do USA type, Swiss, Italian, Australian/Chinese and strangely even UK plugs. I donât have any Danish, Thai or Israeli plugs to try.UK shaver plugs will not fit though a minority of shavers etc, if for the European market, come with Europlugs.The live and neutral holes are all shuttered and there is a standard UK 10A fuse.The adapter cannot be taken apart but looking in through the holes the contacts are brass and appear to be quite thick, which is reassuring.I think this is a good adapter, provided one is aware of what wonât fit.

I highly recommend this plug. I bought several other plugs that I could use a hair appliance with a two-prong plug and none of them worked, the appliance kept blowing the fuse. But this one works great.
