Heatwave survival kit â even my toddler and the dog approve!
Honestly, this ice silk mat is the only thing keeping me sane through this heatwave! I bought it for our guest room but ended up stealing it for our bed â oops. The texture is so soft, no scratchy bits like my old bamboo mat, which is perfect because my 2-year-old naps with us and hates anything ‘rough’. What I love most? Itâs cool enough without AC (we call it ‘fan-only nights’), but doesnât turn icy when we do switch the AC on â my husband hates freezing sheets, so this is a win-win. Bonus: it survived a full machine wash with our dogâs shed hair and a coffee spill.

Uncomfortable to lay on . Doesn’t cool you down at all.

The cool doesnât last long as a hot sleeper
The cool doesnât last very long at all less than an hour for me and not very comfortable but I was able to sleep on it. Unfortunately as a hot sleeper I didnât get much comfort from it.
