Excellent small sized keyboard
I’ve tried several small sized keyboards over the last year or so and they all share one thing common between them all. The keys are often too close together and the Enter key is too easily accessible when using an apostrophe, frequently resulting in errors. Also, as they are not illuminated, they are all but useless in low light conditions. Then I found this one.Oh my.Somebody, somewhere took the small keyboard concept and put a little thought into it. This one is beautifully put together and while you might not think that a qwerty layout can be different to any other, I can say that this one is. While only slighly larger than the other keyboards I’ve tried, that small size difference is a total game changer. Typing is no longer a pain, no more colliding fingers when typing, no more accidental hits on the enter key. No more cramped hand position. And the real bonus, the huge difference? This manufacturer found a way to illuminate the keys and provide four stages of illumination. 3 levels of brightness and off for sunny moments when light is not required.Nicely designed with a function key that actually works without needing to be mashed through the desktop, media keys that actually have a purpose. Fast, easy response and positive feedback from the keys. Soft touch typing with a quiet click feedback from the scissor lift under the keys. Nice smooth finish to the keys and the casing, and a slight lift to the rear of the keyboard which makes a tremendous difference to typing comfort and no need to find a couple placemats to prop the keyboard up.Money very well spent on this piece of equipment and it puts to shame all the other keyboards I have tried and filed away as a waste of space. I don’t know how long this keyboard will last, as it is a recent (ish) purchase, but when it finally bites the dust, I will absolutely be hunting for another one. Love this little thing, it is such a great design and so comfortable to use, and no more fighting for space on my desktop between the various things I have here.If you need a small keyboard for travel or just as a space saver, I highly recommend this one. It is extremely well made and so comfy to use. It’s about as close to perfect as I’ve found for computer peripherals. The only downside perhaps is the cable. Would have been even more convenient if it was a wireless keyboard. But honestly, I’ll take that trade-off for the ease of use, comfort and the illuminated keys.Connection is via a standard block USB connector, but if you need a different type such as usb-c or similar, check around for an adaptor, they do exist and are not too expensive. This does not have blue-tooth or wireless connectivity, so you will need a usb connection to your device.

Excellent keyboard. Nice typing action, premium feel. Shame about the transposed ” and ‘|’
I purchased this keyboard to get more space at the left hand size of my previous etended keyboard. Thw width of the keyboard is slightly smaller than the left to return key size of my extended keyboard. The keyboard has a slight slope to it which is nice. The metal case means there is no keyboard flex. The action of the keys is nicely positive with any clacking so relatively quiet. Thus far I am delighted with it and its functionality. The only minor niggle is that thw ” and ‘|’ keys are access by pressing the fn Key. This in itself isnt a problem, its just that pressing fn+ | gives and fn + gives |. There probably a setting somewhere to change this but it isn’t in the remarkably brief manual. Hence only 4 stars

Very comfortable, works great with Windows, Mac and Linux
I don’t write many reviews, but the help from the reviewers and question answerers for this keyboard helped me a lot, So for the sake of good karma …My keyboard is connected (via an Avocent KVM) to two HP Windows 10 PCs, one pi3 running Stretch and a Mac Mini M1. All work fine; all the usual and weirder characters are available and I didn’t have to configure anything. The Num Lock function that gives you a numeric keypad in the right/middle of the keyboard works fine for Windows and Linux, but not for the Mac. The media function keys work fine for Windows and not for Linux or Mac.The Keyboard has a great feel, very similar to my MacBook Air M1. It’s nicely low profile and sticks very well to the desk surface. Although it is small, the key spacing is the same as a full sized keyboard and there is sufficient space between the keys so that hitting two keys is not a problem. To me, it feels great, and I am transitioning from 30 odd years of mechanical/Cherry type keyboards, sounds ok too. The back light does go out after a while, but just hitting any key turns it back on again, as does Fn+W which toggles it.The only slight installation wrinkle for me was that after I had connected it to the Mac there was no sign of life from the keyboard , but a Fn+W turned on the backlight and brought the keyboard to life. The keyboard isn’t normally dead with the backlight off, so I guess this was some initialisation thing.I’ve just typed this review on it and it feels great, my only very slight dubiosity is that because of the numeric keypad buried in the “regular” keys, some keys have three symbols and some symbols are repeated on more than one key, e.g. +-*, I expect I’ll get used to ignoring the “extra” key symbols. If I was a decent touch typist it wouldn’t be an issue. The pictures of the keyboard are clear enough.Great keyboard, great value and solidly made – I’m very happy with it.****** 6 or 7 weeks laterWish I’d bought it sooner. My fingers now just float over it like some demented floating thing. The slight problem I had with the “extra keys” for the imbedded keypad has disappeared. If I had a use for another wired keyboard I’d buy it again. Just love it.
