Does the job
Works well with my Betron HD800X headphones; after the supplier refused to sell me a replacement cable I took a punt at a generic in-line mic cable, and I’m pleasantly surprised at the positive result.Interestingly, the mic works with the cable either way round, which could be useful if you’re using them with satellite speakers.For reference, the mic and controls are apx 8 inches (20cm) from the 3.5mm jack.

Contols don’t work with laptops/PCs
The Amazon page does not state that the controls won’t work with laptops or PCs. It does list some mobiles that it does work with but is purposely misleading about it’s functionality with laptops/PCs. The page title says it is usable with laptops/PCs and then doesn’t mention the control non-functionality. This is contrary to UK’s advertisment legislation.
