Can be set up using a different app
Luckily these lights were able to be set up using the PlusMinus app that I already use with my other lights. I don’t know why these suggest using an app that wants your phone number and social media log in?If you are new to these lights you have to get the knack of turning them on and off 3 times fast to make them blink fast. If they then don’t connect you have to turn them on and off 3 times a bit slower which makes them blink slower. You then connect through a temporary WiFi signal. Once connected and named, my Alexa recognised the lights automatically and added them to my devices.Lights can be dimmed, used in a routine, timer, different colours. Well worth the money for a set of 2.

One lamp in the bundle worked well out of the box, the second doesnât work in all colors,when set to green or yellow light bulb goes off. no response from tech support.!!!UPDATE!!!The manufacturer reached out and replaced the order. Tested and happy with the new bulbs. I will definitely order from tekled again. Changing rating to 5 stars!!!

These are BRILLIANT. Easy to set up with Alexa and do so much for the money. My six year old loves them. Us as parents too, as we have interested them into routines.

I bought these for my kitchen and living room. Easy to install, but you have to keep reconnecting them with Amazon Alexa. Good brightness, took us half an hour to install, with the app. Overall decent quality for the price.

epilepsy warning
At no point in the website listing or on the outside packaging does it give warning for people who suffer from photo sensitive epilepsy not to buy as part of the setup process requires the bulb strobe on first useLuckily not been effected by this but more by luck than judgement. these light bulbs can kill and no warning issued by manufacturer or Amazon .discraceful not a complaint just a public safety announcement.
