15 metre length works perfectly!
I used this to connect the optical output from my Mac Pro system unit to my surround sound processor.I was initially worried whether it would work, as many sites on the internet report that you should only use an optical connection of 8 metres or less, yet I needed to connect the computer one one side of the room to the surround processor on the opposite side of the room.I’d considered using a short TOSLINK optical link to a converter to convert the signal to an SPDIF co-axial cable as in theory a coax link can run over longer distances, but decided to give the 15 metre optical cable a try as it involved less devices/connections. I ran the cable round the room ensuring there were no tight bends in it, plugged it into the processor at one end and the optical port on the Mac at the other. In the sound settings on the Mac, I set it to output sound via the optical interface, and it worked perfectly with no issues. Very pleased with the result!

Smallest cable diameter I’ve ever seen but it allowed me to do a optical run across my room. Would recomend

Fa egregiamente il suo lavoro.Fatto passare 25 metri di cavo toslink (corrugato e scatola di derivazione) dal proiettore fino alla soundbar sulla parete opposta.il cavo è molto fine, ma per passare la testa ho dovuto prima liberare i corrugati (da 25) dai cavi presenti.A lavoro ultimato (e ripassati ovviamente i cavi della corrente) il suono riprodotto è pulito e senza ritardi.
