You’d think that this is what should have come with the camcorder!
This is well built – the charging displays are very clear and actually useful – it’s a solid and well bit of kit that is up to Sony’s standards. I got this as I lost my original charger and have several batteries so very handy to get them all charged before a shoot. Top marks, highly recommended 🙂

LCD display failed
Had this unit about 12 months and it has always charged batteries well.Now the LCD display has failed, and there is no way to know whether the batteries are charged, or are even charging, so the device is now useless.if you can accept it may fail after a few months , the charger is fine. But I wouldn’t call it reliable.

It is a simple but effective product. It gives information how far the battery is charged and you can use at in a normal plug or use the sigaret lighter in your car.
