Still going strong
I recently purchased the Torkase Dusk to Dawn Light Bulbs for my outdoor fixtures, and theyâve exceeded my expectations. The built-in light sensor is highly responsive, automatically turning the lights on at dusk and off at dawn without any manual intervention. This feature has been incredibly convenient, especially during the shorter days.The 13W LED bulbs emit a warm 3000K glow thatâs both bright and inviting, effectively illuminating my garage and patio areas. Despite their brightness, theyâre energy-efficient, consuming significantly less power than traditional 100W bulbs. Additionally, the bulbs are flicker-free and have shown no issues with enclosed fixtures.Installation was straightforwardâjust screw them into the existing E27 sockets, and theyâre good to go. Iâve noticed a sense of added security knowing that these lights operate consistently every night. Overall, a great investment for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor lighting with minimal effort.

Wanted a bulb to come on at night and off in the morning without the use of a timer.These bulbs work well in my outside light.

Longevity is an issue
These bulbs are great, work as advertised. Bright and lovely warm tone, perfect for the front door light fixture that we have. However, the 1st bulb had stopped working after 4 months. Heat wasn’t a factor as it it used outdoors in a non-enclosed fixture, heat normally kills LED bulbs. This is a little worrying as they are not the cheapest LED dusk to dawn bulbs.

They DO work through glass!
Having tried various solutions (still searching for the unicorn of motion sensing that works through a glass shade on an outside light) these bulbs have given me a good alternative, and work through the glass storm cover on the outside lights. Bright. Not sure on energy efficiency yet but they work!

Just plug then in, leave them switched on and they do what it says on the tin.They come on at dusk and switch off at dawn.Life span in my experience 3 to 4 years.

An improvement on what i had before, but not perfect
It is what is is, an ES / E27 screw in light sensitive dusk to dawn.This one is much brighter than my previous one, and being LED it goes to full brightness (almost) instantly (unlike the CFL I had previously).The only minor downside is that when the light level is marginal as to whether it will come on or not, it goes on and off once/twice a second so a bit of flicker as it tries to work it out. If it did that less often I’d probably give it 5*Other than that, really jolly good.

à noter que si l’interrupteur d’alimentation de cette ampoule est munis d’une diode qui ne s’allume que lorsque l’ampoule n’est pas alimentée, cette fonction disparait avec cette nouvelle ampoule.
