Just what my son needed!
Bought as a gift for my son, to go along with headphones, so I can’t exactly rant and rave about them, but he seems happy so I expect all is good.

Been using daily for months with the Sony WH1000XM4 and it’s pretty much perfect.The only downside is the foam tip can be pulled off quite easy so something to be careful of, but can’t rate it down for that

I love my Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. It is studio headphone thus lacks mics. There are bluetooth versions but wired is always better than wireless. HansnBy Boom Microphone fills the void and works like a charm. Felt the boom to be quite flimsy but it still holds is place. The quality of the mic is average and some bluetooth mics perform better but overall convenience and usability is top notch.

Good quality and works as expected
Does exactly what you’d hope, converting a pair of headphones into a headset with a simple cable swap. The microphone is good quality (comparable to ~£150 Sennheiser gaming headset) and comes with a small foam pop shield and a decently bendy boom. The clip has a resistive volume dial (i.e. doesn’t control the system volume directly) which is useful to offset volume if the system volume level is too high.The cable is quite phonic (i.e. friction results in noise transmitting up the cable) but has a clip to attach to clothing which eliminates this.

Static if signal is split
Splitting the signal into microphone and headphones causes static to be constantly heard through the headphones, even in silence. This doesn’t happen if the cable goes straight into a single output. Dissapointing, but the microphone itself is alright.

Long term Review = excellent mic
This is a great mic, simple but works excellently. Solidly made and reliable.NB – I use this with audio technica M50s and I needed to also buy a USB plug in adapter for the cable – I wasn’t able to use the mic by plugging in the regular audio jack.

Permet d’ajouter le micro à mon casque. Micro de bonne qualité, fil de très bonne qualité aussi. Par contre le “boitier” pour le volume et mute semble fragile.

Bought to have phone calls and meetings on a pc. Didnt work so i also Bought an usb to 3.5 adapter dukabel. Works fine now. The mic moves around but not big problem.edit: after one day my callers started to hear a echo sound. dont know if its the mic or the adapter. but as i cant use the mic without the adapter i will likely return it.
