Microphone:There is nothing on the market even close to this. If you like to sound good on Teams calls, Discord, FaceTime or any communication platform, this is the headset to get.I care how I sound in meetings and while gaming. Many don’t. But I want to get my message across without annoying people with static, noise, clicks and compression. This headset gives you a natural, clean and close up sound.The built in sidetone is superb. The controller on the headset lets you adjust the sidetone volume completely separate from the music/PC volume. The sidetone also gets decently loud. Since the mic is so good, there is also very little noise from the sidetone. So it’s not annoying when there is no music or meeting sound. Unlike any other headset with sidetone I have ever tried.Comfort/Music/drivers:I have never listened to the original M50X headphones. But the driver quality here is decent and the headset is plenty large for my big head and big ears. Maybe a little bit of contact between my ear and cup lining. Overall good comfort.Music is fairly neutral, but not dull. Base response approved. The highs are not super crisp, but also not fatiguing. I would say a great all around headset.Voices in meetings sound as good as they can, given the sub par mic they are usually recorded with. Sound isolation is enough for my office landscape.Conclusion:The best microphone on a headset by far. Sturdy build. Proper sidetone! Decent sounding drivers. Over ear comfort.What to wish for:Wireless, can it be done without trashing the microphone signal?Lockable headband adjustment.Removable cable (a regular USB-C would be fine).A tad more gain on the mic.

good headphones but beware some issues with the usb version
i’m not an audiophile by any means and this is the my first headphones with a price tag over 70 and they’ve been great so far. great microphone quality and sounds amazing. the only issue i faced is random instances of really loud static that occur every day or so which happens as im using a usb hub due to the length of the headphone wire not reaching my pc case.

Great sounding mic attached to great sounding headphones
These are basically the ATH-M50X headphones with an AT2020 mic capsule on a boom.The ATH-M50s are literally legendary for their sound quality and the AT2020 has a reputation for being a good high quality mic.Obviously the thing to be aware of (if you don’t buy the USB version) is they come with an XLR connector for the microphone which requires phantom power. This means you can’t just plug an adapter on it and expect it to work on 3.5mm socket. But if you are buying a product of this calibre and not getting the USB version you likely already know this already.

Casque parfait, autant l’écoute que le micro avec un petit EQ dessus. L’audio est plutôt neutre, ce que l’on attend d’un casque studio avec une restitution équilibré des graves / aigus. Le casque est articulé ce qui fait qu’il s’adapte très bien à ma tête ayant une petite tête le casque est réglé à la plus petite taille, il ne sert pas trop mais tiens bien en place. Il est léger, mais semble réellement solide, le double jeu de coussinets est un plus, préférence pour ceux en mousse plus aérés. Il est très confortable pour de très longue session ~ 8 heures, même en portant des lunettes.Bonne spatialisation pour les gamers, on distingue bien d’où vienne les sons.Le seule point négatif serai sur les coussinets, l’épaisseur fait que l’oreille touche le haut parleur. Cela ne le rend pas inconfortable du tout, mais je l’ai juste remarqué. Mais d’autres earpads existe dans le commerce d’une plus grande épaisseur sont compatibles avec le casque.Passant d’un casque sans fil mmx 200 à celui-ci, je suis content du changement.

主に配信時での実況で使用。PC環境ですがXLR接続できるものが手元にないので、手軽なUSB接続タイプにしました。Windows11ですが差すだけですぐ認識。何のセットアップも基本いらないです。する事といったらマイクの音量調整(ボリューム)をPC側で確認しておく事くらい。今まで2～3000円程度のヘッドセットマイク(一応有名メーカー品)を使用していましたが、単なるボイスチャットとして人との会議やPS5等で会話するだけなら問題特になかったのですが、“配信実況”となると別。自分でも見返すと「何か聞き取りにくいなあ」というのと話しても「最後の語尾セリフがふわっと消えていく」感じがどうも気に入りませんでした。あと声もきれいに通ってない感があって…定価でほぼ3万、高級ヘッドセットマイクといってもいいんではないでしょうか。そこらのゲーミングモニターよりずっと高いです。安物ヘッドセットマイクをずっと使ってきた自分にとっては結構悩みました。ブラックフライデーで割引されていたとはいえ元が安くはない…と(笑)1万程度のスタンドマイクにしようか迷ったのですが、ヘッドセットマイクは見ての通り口元から距離が離れないので、スタンドマイクのタイプだと距離によっては声が遠くなったりするのを避けて、今回こっちを購入しました。ただマイクとヘッドホンが一体化なので、壊れた時は(修理に出したとしても)マイクとヘッドホン同時にその時失う事になります。でも、国産品！創業が1962年(昭和37年)オーディオテクニカを信用しました。USBタイプは定価ではほぼ3万「そうそう壊れるワケはない」と。配信の前にマイクテストしてみましたが、実際に確認してすぐわかりました。音質が違う。声の通り(入り)が違う。途中で声が切れかかったりノイズっぽいものが乗ったりするような事もなく、素晴らしいと思いました。あとは他の人もレビューしてる通り、自分の声(の入り方)がその場で確認できる説明文にもあるサイドトーン機能が物凄くいいです。遅延なくストレートに自身の声が聞こえます。密閉型なので、遮音性は結構高くカチっと耳にセットしていると、マイクでどれくらいの音量で話してるのかわからない。といったものがこの機能によって解消できます。遅延がないので配信時には入れっぱなしにしてます(笑)オンにしてもオフにしても配信時に音量や性質が変わったりはしません。むしろこの機能オンで常時使用をオススメします。閉塞感が全くないので違和感もないです。単一指向性なので周囲の音を拾いにくい、と思いきやPC側でマイクの音量を上げるとタイピングの音やクリック音も普通に入ります。自分の環境ではすぐ隣に空気清浄機があるのですが、そのファンの音は強にしてもなぜか拾わない。打点のような“カチャカチャ系”は拾います。なので配信時に使用するであろうアプリにある(例えばOBSとかの)ノイズキャンセリング機能をONにすればその問題は解消されます。大抵の配信者は入れていると思いますが、マイク側とアプリ側のノイキャン両方を連動でONにする事でほぼ周囲の雑音は入りません。マイクだけでなく聞く方としての音質もいいですよ。ヘッドホンの性能として見てもグッドです。高音から低音のバスまで綺麗に聞こえます。自分は音響マニアではないですが、やはりいい音の方がワクワクするというか、単純に気分いいですよね。ゲーム内の音もリアルさが増したというか、より本物に近い感覚の音源で聞けます。歌やBGMとかは迫力出るし、値段出す価値があります。また自分好みにサウンドエフェクトアプリ入れたりして、ちょいと音質にブーストかけ好みの音質にするのもいいでしょう。送られてきた商品は最初は通気性・快適性タイプが装着された状態で届きます。夏場はこのままでいいでしょうが、今は余り蒸れないし汗も出ないので音質・遮音性重視タイプに即交換しました。通気性用は夏場に向けて取っておきます。装着する際にそこそこ伸縮性あるとはいえ、交換時は無理に引っ張ると破損する可能性もあるので慎重に。外すのは簡単ですが。※マイクを跳ね上げるとミュートになる。の機能について。これが機能しないとレビューしてる人いますが、恐らく完全に跳ね上げてないからだと思われます。自分も当初軽く跳ね上げてミュートになるか確認した所ならない。あれ？？これ実は完全にカチッと手に2回感触が来るまで上に上げ切らないとミュートになりません。カチッと音がなるわけではないですが、軽くすっと上に上げた＝ミュートではないです。1回跳ね上げるとコリッと何かに当たる感触がありますが、さらにその奥に倒し切って2回目の感触(最奥)時にミュートになります。すぐ上に跳ね上げてだけでミュートになってしまっては逆に何かの拍子で、手がぶつかりズレてしまい配信中など勝手にミュートになったら、そっちの方が困るでしょう。なのでキチンと垂直になるまでカチっと倒し切らないとミュートにならないのが正解。ちなみにそんな事したらミュートのたびにガタガタうるさいのではないか？と思うでしょうが、意外とその音入りません。パッと跳ね上げてしまえばOK。
