Not a Screened Cable!
Be aware – this is not a screened cable! For some applications this won’t matter, but for sensitive parts of equipment (e.g. microphones) severe hum pickup is likely to be a problem, as another reviewer has mentioned. It’s sold as a ‘mono’ cable, implying suitability for audio use.

Bought this 5 meter extension for my sound bar subwoofer but audio was reduced quit a lot and bass was considerably reduced at the subwoofer
