Worth the price
Sometimes I like to watch tv late night but just dont want to make noise. I thought of the extension cable so I can use headphones while resting in bed. The cable is perfect length, in fact longer than I need but you never know for which other equipment you may need it in the future…Cable feels and looks great quality. I could even use it on gaming headphones as there is option for microphone as well. The sound quality is very good, no unnecessary sounds, noises.I’m happy with it and I think its well priced.

Works well, but should be in a channel or down the edge of a carpet
A basic quality cable which has gold plated contacts on either end and cowls covering where the join is between plug and cable. This makes a great connection and extends any 3.5mm plug cable by 3 metres but the wire itself seems a little weak and susceptible to damage through kinks and twists. If you are using this where it can slip down the edge of a carpet or under a mat, then this is the cable for you, but if it is exposed and may get pulled or folded over then there are better cables about – look for something that is braided and that will take a little more wear and tear.

A reasonable extension lead for the money.
I had a specific project that needed an extension cable for my mobile phone. This is the full 4-pin extension lead rather than the usual 3-pin. In other words, it carries the microphone signals as well as the stereo audio output.It arrives in a retail plastic bag thatâs resealable. The cable is nice and flexible, but I would have preferred a braided cable. It runs to approximately 3m in length which is ideal for what I needed. Both the plug and the socket are gold-plated for the best connection.This type of lead is more for the mobile phone market, but many mobiles are now removing the 3.5mm jack socket on their phones. They now favour the USB-C connector instead. So, make sure your phone has such a socket before purchasing this lead.The lead must be well screened as I couldnât detect any noise being picked up when in use. The microphone connection is the most prone to picking up electrical noise, but this lead is fine.Overall, a reasonable extension lead for the money. I hope that helps.

A good length and works well.
This is a good length and I am using it to extend the range of my plug headphones to my hi-fi. The wire is fairly good quality and looks robust. Much better than some I have bought. It should last well. I don’t notice any reduction in sound quality. The music sounds just the same whether I connect the headphones directly tot he hi-fi or use this cable. Just what I needed. Good value. Works well.

Very simple, does what it says on the tin! It’s a nice cable and is very long at 3 metres! It extends your AUX cable nicely without any audible loss in sound quality – couldn’t ask for more to be honest! At just £7 this is very reasonably priced, and if you’re looking for an AUX extension cable, you definitely won’t be disappointed!The cable supports both speaker and microphone at the same time, so if you have a 2 in 1 pair of headphones, you can use this no problem! The cable itself is very thing, which can be either a pro or a con. Great if you’re looking for a low profile cable, but it might not be as sturdy as a braided cable!Overall, I’d recommend this at just £7!

Useful and handy, decent quality.
Headphone cables never quite seem to be long enough, and of course most these days are the smaller 3.5mm jack size. Even when they are long enough, some extra slack can make it a lot more comfortable.This 3m extension, seems quite well-made, with quality gold plated connections, and reasonable cable entry collars. The gauge is adequate, not as thick as some, but the sound throughput is excellent. With no discernible loss or degradation etc.Overall, a decent quality, well-made, good value extension, perfect for headphones.I hope that you have found this helpful.

Good quality, possible to be stronger
For the price (currently £6.99) this is a perfectly good 3.5mm extension cable with microphone connection (i.e. four connections rather than the usual three used for L and R sound only).The cable itself is slinky and narrow – ideal for permanent mounting, e.g. behind equipment, down edges of skirting boards/carpets, car internal panels etc. It would not survive long if simply left across a room where people could walk on it, add (accidentally) knots and kinks, and worst of all, run an office chair over it… (for such exposed conditions, look for braided cable).On the other hand, it’s gold plated, the connections click together nice and firmly, and the entry to the plugs is via cowls to give protection against twisting at the entry point.If you need a narrow cable to slip into a narrow gap, where it won’t be disturbed, then this is perfect. Otherwise, if just using as a headphone/audio cable in free space, look for a braided variation (make sure is 4 pole if that’s what you need, i.e. with a microphone connection).

Nice quality cable, worked on a iPad and mobile phone to extend audio cable.
The audio extension cable worked nicely when playing music through a Apple iPad to a connected speaker with a audio jack. Its definitely a bonus to have a nice extendable lead between the loud-speaker and the tablet. Connection was good and the audio quality was good. This was additionally used on a Mobile phone and likewise physical connection to the loud-speaker worked as expected. Good quality cable good length.
