I was a bit apprehensive to do this fix. I bit the bullet went for it.The removal of the old lenses are the most tricky. You need to cut the old lens metal ring to remove. Once away a quick clean and the new lens pops on and the ring screws down over it. Donât forget the rubber seal.As for image quality I am hard pressed to tell the difference for images that are directly facing the lens it is as good as insta360 originals. However. There is a noticeable difference in the stitch lines. For cycling and motorcycle riding these stitch line are not apparent. It is more noticeable when using selfie stick. Part of your hand is also hidden as well as the selfie stickOver all it is way better than the smashed lens I had before the fix.
