It arrived quickly, and (as I requested) was the ‘small Dell power connector’, and not the big one.Came well packed with a standard length cloverleaf AC mains lead (and not one of those silly super short leads).Plugged in to my Dell laptop – the BIOS reported that it was the correct wattage.All good – perfect

Good= My laptop sees it ok and does not complain its not the original one, comes with the uk mains lead.not so good = it gets a bit hot at times, cant remember if the original did this but never checked one way or the other.

Just the job
I needed a new charging cable for my Dell laptop after my puppy chewed through the existing one. I couldn’t find an exact match for my Dell Ryzen but I ordered this as it seemed to be exactly the same specs as my old one. Thankfully it works perfectly. My laptop started charging immediately and was 100% charged within an hour or so. Great service – ordered last night and delivered today and good price too. Very happy.

Does the job for Dell Inspiron 5570
Like many manufacturers, Dell makes it so that your laptop can tell if there is a “genuine” dell adaptor plugged in. Not unreasonable I suppose (being generous) if there is a genuine danger of damaging your laptop with something pulled out of the man drawer. However, very frustrating when your original Dell adaptor just stops being recognised (1 week outside warranty!).The laptop gives a warning, refuses to charge the battery and the CPU chip appears to be throttled down to nearly useless performance.After way too much time calling Dell and having them refuse to do anything other than pass me on to a “partner” who wanted far too much money for a replacement (neither party would provide me with a part number), I risked getting this more acceptably priced alternative.All works fine, laptop back to normal performance. Phew.

Weak pin, no charging
Charger worked initially but now fails to charge my device at all, beeping loudly intermittently. The pin seems to have bent.
