Compact, good quality lens filters
Bought these to screw onto the front of the Canon RF 50 mm f/1.8 “nifty fifty” lens. Will fit any other camera lenses with this lens filter size. Very small size so can be carried in a lens pouch or camera backpack. Can be mounted sequentially e.g. an ND filter on first then the polariser filter (CPL) on top of that.

Looking for a 77mm CP filter I was about to order something else when I first heard mention of these. I liked the sound of the ethical side of the company, and knowing if a professional that used them began to look at the range, and came across this set. While the CP was the lens I was most interested in, I was tempted to buy this set.They are a step up from my previous cheap filters, but without breaking the bank.It’s early days, but I’m initially happy with them, and look forward to getting out more as weather improves and restrictions lift.

WHY ON URTH DID THEY CHANGE THEIR NAME?
Urth. Can they not spell in Straya? Urth used to be called Gobe, and they had three levels of quality â 1, 2, and 3 peaks â aimed at the amateur, the serious amateur/semi-pro, and the professional, photographer. Now, they only have two: Urth, and Urth Plus+. I probably would have plumped for Gobe 2 peaks, but stepped up to Urth Plus+ for this set of multi-coated Schott glass filters. Theyâre excellent! Build quality is faultless, and the filters are solidly built, smooth in operation (whether that be attaching to a lens, or adjusting polarisation or ND density), and are presented in sturdy, attractive packaging (now just cardboard, as opposed to the fancy Gobe tins).One nice addition to the Urth offering is that they plant a tree for every filter sold â and they have now planted over 5â¢3million trees! As a Nikon user, I always tried to use Nikon filters; now, as a Panasonic LUMIX convert, I have opted for Gobe/Urth filters, and will be sticking to them for as long as I am able to hold a camera. Buy one (or more!) to see what Iâm talking about: I seriously doubt that you will be disappointed!

An unfortunate occurrence
Photographically they are excellent quality. I did however have the magnetic adapter jam in the front thread of my Nikon 24 – 120 lens. I had to destroy the adapter to remove it prior to selling the lens.

Supreme Quality
As a serious amateur photographer with a range of high quality lenses I am pretty fussy about what I attach to the front of my prime lenses, for instance there is no point having a top notch Zeiss lens and then attaching a cheap filter to the front.These filters are not only very high quality, they are also easy to fit and perform exceptionally well without distorting or altering the colour.The Polarizer is actually my all time favourite.

PAS OK!A FUIR ! J’ai acheté ce produit pour un reportage. Premièrement le packaging du produit avait déjà été ouvert et utilisé.Lorsque j’ai voulu l’utiliser lors du reportage, je le fixe à l’objectif (l’anneau magnétique) en le vissant et le filtre UV qui se fixe dessus. A peine deux pas et un portrait fait que je remarque le filtre qui s’est détaché. je pars à la recherche du filtre et le retrouve. Le lendemain, je refixe l’anneau magnétique et celui-ci tombe lors du reportage. J’ai actuellement demandé un rembourssement. J’ai acheté d’autre produits de la m^me marque je je suis déçue de tous.

El producto en sà es un producto de calidad, he podido probar los filtros con otro objetivo de 49mm y la verdad es que los resultados son óptimos, la relación calidad precio es adecuada. Es un producto que recomiendo.Este kit me ha llegado ya abierto, con el precinto roto y ha sido sacado de la caja. Aparentemente las lentes están en buen estado, estoy a la espera de recibir el objetivo nuevo para poder comprobarlo, aunque a simple vista como digo, están bien.No le puedo quitar estrellas por la entrega del producto abierto, porque esto es cuestión de Amazon, eso sÃ, si muestran el mÃnimo defecto no dudaré en devolver este kit ya que ha sido abierto anteriormente.

I’ve been very happy with these filters, I actually ordered a second set of the end caps so that I can use one as a lens cap in front of thw UV filter. This has been great during the late winter and early spring since unscrewing it is easy with gloves compared to a the original plastic pinch cap. I recommend these to everyone.
