This Panasonic remote control is a fantastic piece of kit if you are using a camera rig. As you can control the zoom T/W, also you can focus your subject very easily with the tips of your fingers and you can open and close your camera iris as well. The best part of this remote that you can start to recording by a touch of a button. I like the very easy access to all the buttons, I love this item. Only one negative thing about this item, itâs very expensive for what it does, as this you canât buy this item in UK ð¬ð§. As you buy on Amazon this remote control was shipped out from Amazon Seattle US ðºð¸. Thatâs why it very expensive. Just make sure the Model of your Panasonic camera is compatible with this remote control, as it does work with all Panasonic cameras or camcorders. If your camcorder or camera has two inputs mini mini jack and mini jack, first zoom S/S and second camera remote inputs. It should work. So always check to see if your Panasonic model is on the camera list, before you buy or contact Panasonic manufacturers and they should help you with this, if you canât find your model number on the camera list. Well made but possibly faulty
The controller seems well made but I have an initial issue in that the zoom rocker is shorting when I plug it in. The result is the camera force zooms in to maximum and stays there. The rocker is ineffective. Unplugging the zoom cable will release the normal camera zoom control. Fiddling and replugging all three connectors sometimes corrects the fault. This remote controller costs a fracture of the likes of manfrotto, yet it’s very well built and simply just works.I plugged it into my Panasonic HC-X1 and was able to use it immediately. All the functions: zoom, iris and focus work. If you have the main zoom button’s speed programmed, the zoom knob on the remote works exactly the same way.There was no manual in the box, nothing, well you don’t need one. Great stuff. I wish I came across it earlier.

I want a remote control for my Panasonic AG UX 180 not just to gently zooming in and stop/ start but also one that could focus and fine tune aperture for varying light levels . This unit is a great and easy to use
