Was a bit dubious, but thought Iâd give it a try as itâs a lot cheaper than having to buy a new battery and charger. It works perfectly, and doesnât impact the usability of the tool. Would recommend.

Brilliant adaptor
Does what it says, myRyobi batteries were naff and have other Dewalt tools so this was a cheaper option than buying new batteries. Good fit and works perfectly well on my nail gun and drill using the Dewalt batteries.

I have to admit, I didn’t think this would be any good, but omg was I suprised. It fit and worked perfectly.

Good but could have been better
The battery converter works as described. Itâs not very robust, I am not sure it would survive any hard knocks.It also doesnât quite fit, as you can see in my photos. You have to make sure itâs pushed on hard before the dewalt battery clicks in place. In both my photos the battery is clicked in, but looks like it should slide a bit further.I was able to use the converter to power up a very old Ryobi tool, that would otherwise have been scraped.Had it fitted better and felt more sturdy I would have given a higher star rating.
