The camera is super low quality build imagine is blurry and not clear even at 5k the zoom is not an actual zoom digital zoom makes the blurry video even worse. The camera is awful for 200 pounds

I love this camera as a first camera only problem is itâs only been maybe a month or 2 with it and the charging port doesnât work anymore I barely even used it I went to jail after buying it I only charged it 3 times so thatâs kinda crazy For $170 but besides that the quality is good and the monitor feature is beneficial ashAlong with the few gadgets they provide just wish I wouldâve spent my money on a cheaper GoPro at this point cause I canât even use it in the picture the light on the portable chargerAnd the camera that indicates charging arenât even turning on when they usually do meaning the port isnât taking anything power and (the portable charger is charged ,it doesnât work with socket either) it wasnât for that this would be 5starDoes anyone know how to get in contact with them warranty card never worked

I am just getting started in video production for vlogging/YouTube videos, and I’m pretty strapped for funds. Because of that, I had purchased a different product from a different manufacturer and even for my meager needs it was horrendous, so I sent it back and got this camera instead. The jump in quality was apparent before I even opened the box. The included peripherals don’t feel cheap like they’re just tossing them in to make the purchase more attractive. The handle is extremely robust–the hood could be a bit tougher but so long as you’re not using it to record extreme sports it’s likely good enough. I can’t say the video is truly 5k or would hold up to displaying well on a large screen, but again, for vlogging and the like I find it to be fine–the digital zoom has a lot of room for improvement though. The touch screen viewfinder makes it very user friendly and the menus are intuitive. The added remote is also a nice feature. The product description mentions night vision, but I have yet to find out how to set it as such, but I also haven’t had it very long either. As stated, I thought I was going to be able to save a few bucks by buying a camera with a lower price point, but i’d say that anything lower than this camera’s price is not worth your time.Edit to include additional info after 1+ months/20+videos:I have been using the camera for filming naturalist/wilderness survival/angling videos, along with interior videos for product reviews, and I have become even more satisfied with it. During the polar vortex I was filming four 4-5 hrs. at a time in snow/sleet/sunny snow/ice and barely dbl digit temps and the thing took all of it in stride. The batteries, if kept warm, were working for 2+hrs each, and so long as you stay on the light metering settings for the current conditions, you can get some great footage.I’m having a lot of fun with the time lapse for outdoor shots of rolling clouds, etc. The remote, while mentioned before, has become an invaluable tool as you can frame yourself up using the rotating screen and hit record from your mark.Initially the file sizes seemed a bit constrictive, but putting the camera into 1080p 30fps instead of 5k 60fps cut those files down IMMENSELY with almost no drop in quality. I haven’t tried the slow-mo feature so the 60fps setting may be useful yet.The camera isnt particularly heavy which, for filming myself on the go with the tripod legs folded and resting upon my hip, is a positive.This scrappy little camera has won a small warm place in my heart.
