This is NOT a universal fit, it will NOT fit the common Arca quick-release mounts.
These are cheap and cheerful plastic mounting plates, fitted with the standard quarter inch screw and a spring-mounted plastic anti-rotation pin. Whilst the ant-rotation pin recess is commonly seen on camcorders, not all cameras can easily accommodate an anti-rotation pin. A more significant issue is that whilst described as a “universal” fit, and whilst they look similar to the Arca Swiss mounting plates, the cambered rails are 43mm wide compared to 39mm on the Arca Swiss system, and will not fit an Arca Swiss baseplate. I believe this item is designed for Manfrotto 200PL mounts, but I don’t have a Manfrotto tripod to hand to confirm this. Make sure you know which base system you are using before purchasing these plates.

Not a universal fit – check before buying
Ensure that this supposedly universal fit will actually do so. On arrival I tried it with my tripod quick release mechanism and it didnât fit too big, wrong shape. Camera is a Nikon D7000.

Fitted my tripod perfectly. Attached an iPhone 11 securely to be portrait or could tilt to landscape view. Little clicker for taking photos was an added luxury which was easy to pair up to phone and worked great.
