Weird Issue
This review is for a Yottamaster 1TB NVMe SSD.The drive arrived boxed. Includede in the box was the drive, a screw driver, heatsink, thermal pad, and mounting screw.Firstly testing as an external drive, you have to initialise it first. Go in to your operating system’s partition software, and you can set it up from there. This is standard for all brand new SSD’s. Once activated, it showed up fine with no problems.It had acceptable but not great speeds over old style USB (which is a limitation of the technolog), but It worked like a dream over USB C with speeds around 10 times faster on average. I have attached benchmark results as images so you can see the speeds for yourself.I then decided to clone my laptop’s 512GB Windows SSD to it. The cloning process with CloneZilla took about 2 hours in total. I swapped drives over, and it booted in to Windows perfectly.However, I had some real problems booting in to Linux which is installed on a separate (Crucial) SATA SSD. It would get stuck on the Linux splash screen, or if it got past that, it would lock up on the log in screen. Booting in to safe mode never worked either. I never managed to log in. So I gave up trying, reverted to my old SSD and everything works fine. I don’t know what is going on, but the problem is most likely this drive, at the least it’s definitely related to it.I can’t give this any more than three stars because of that issue. The drive on its own works great, I will likely be using it as an external storage drive now instead of the intended use of a Windows boot drive. I am disappointed I am unable to dual boot from it.

The advertised photo show two heat sink. But the received SSD does not include the upper aluminum heat sink. It comes with only lower part of plate. Please also note that it is QLC. SSD works well with PS5.Edit: After contacting seller, they refund 2000 yen. I just need heat sink, So, I will buy a new heat sink with the refund money.
