The description says itâs compatible with Echo Dot 3rd generation, but it isnât. Amazon was good about giving me a refund, but I thought I should warn the next person whoâs thinking of buying this for an Echo Dot 3 – itâs useless and the jack is far too big

A little short but very good quality. Great alternative to the expensive official power cable.
I ordered this cable to replace my echo dot official cable as it had blown a fuse. The official cable was £19.99! Crazy price for a power cable for something that cost £40. J found this USB cable for around £3.80. No plug jncluded but most people will have these from previous phone chargers. It was delivered very quickly, and fits perfectly. It’s a little short (probably my fault for not looking properly) but this was overcome e by relocating my echo dot.
Very good quality and fits perfectly. A better option than paying up to £19.99 for something that does exactly the same function.

Good Quality but DELIVERY took from NOV 28 to Jan 3rd!
It works well, corner plug so fits against wall but delivery took 36 days. Maybe this was because of supply chain issues or other problems but this experience only made me appreciate the super fast service and dependable service we rely upon Amazon, and partners & YunExpress for delivery!

Ideal if you want to power an Echo Dot from a USB power socket on a hub or dock and don’t have a spare mains socket to plug the supplied power adapter

Doesn’t work if you want to play music on an Amazon Echo 3rd Generation
This certainly manages to power up an Amazon Echo third generation. The device will obey commands. However, if you try to play music, the device reboots spontaneously after about a minute. I tried it on three Echos and the same thing happened with each one. Disappointing as I had high hopes.
