A HiFi tweak that actually works.
A beautifully engineered piece of aluminium, weighing just over 400g that fits precisely onto a 7mm spindle, and it actually works, specially on older and thinner lp’s. Base seems cleaner and tighter, and improved clarity to vocals. Money well spent.

Good weight to keep your records flat for better tracking.
It’s a weight what more can you say. Well you can say it does help keep records flat on the turntable and helps keep the base tight. Is it worth the price not fully sure, but does help in the improvement of sound and it looks good. I will be using this all the time.

Nice and heavyweight
What can I say other than it’s nice and heavyweight and machined well with a nice smooth finish. As to whether it actually makes much difference, I don’t know but I do use it all the time. Shame that I can’t close the lid if I leave it on the platter as it’s just a tad too big (I use a Planar 1 turntable).

Pleasantly surprised. Wish I’d ignored the audiophile critics of vinyl weights.
Probably about to open a hornets nest here. I’ve been in pursuit of perfect sound for forty + years as both an avid music listener and wannabee guitarist. I’ve tried all the snake oil tweaks over the years and found many of them were snake oil. There is no escaping the basics of having decent well matched kit. One supposed snake oil tweak I always avoidedwas the vinyl weight. Never heard anything but disparaging comments from most audiophile sites. Well, I’m here to tell you that they’re talking rubbish. I purchased this weight for my direct drive Technics 7ts turntable and oh my god! The improvement is amazing. Albums go from sloppy to tight and defined instantly. A bit like squeezing a 40 inch waist into a 32 inch trouser. I’m not a fadist and don’t get embrouled in audiiophile arguments but believe me, the most effective tweaks I’ve ever done are replacing a rubber platter mat for cow hide and of course this nobosound weight. It’s not cheap but it’s heavy. My TT is direct drive so upto it. Also, for audiophiles who disagree just get your old text books out and look up inertia. On a light note, this has made a very audible improvement to a decent set up. Can’t recommend enough. ð
