good quality product but didn’t really make a difference.
I bought this as it was more appropriate length between my PC and the router, I had about 60FT of coiled Cat5 left behind by Virgin about 6 years ago when they installed fibre broadband. Now I’ve changed ISP to ‘normal’ broadband I thought I’d try to maximise reception by getting an Cat6 of the right length (about 12ft). The quality is great and it hasn’t got the plastic/rubber hood you sometimes get around these things which prevent you from having another connection in the neighbouring ethernet socket. Did it make a difference? Not really!! If anything it appeared to make the connection slower and or seemed to make the browsers load in a different way. There are many technical reasons why this could be so, I spoke to the local guy (you know the one that every town has, had his electrical shop for 35 years and everyone knows him) he said it doesnt really matter Cat5 or 6 if youre just running a short distance, it may make a difference if you’re running a long way between one connection and another (around the house for example) I’m sure the quality and efficiency of the PC you’re using (and router) may also affect it too. (if its delivering the signal really efficiently my PC might not be able to cope with it as easily as it would something a little less speedy, thus slowing down the processor?) I’m going to monitor it over the next couple of weeks but my advice is don’t expect a massive difference if your just using these for domestic small tasks and you havent got a state of the art computer. At the end of the day its a lot tidier than having a massive coil of white cable lying around the house and fits nicely round the back of the table and for the price it was worth trying!

Does what it says on the tin, no issues here.Quality is good, speed is good and the colour doesn’t matter to me however i do sometimes think i should have brought a white cable.

Perfect cable for upgrading your network as a business or a small home computer system/network. I have a mix of wireless and wired at home. I use TP link (over the power line) to deliver Internet access to my gaming PC in the dinning room. I purchased this cable to replace the connection from the TPLink socket to my PC and its working exactly as described.It looks sleek and hides itself away on my floor also tucked it into the skirting easily!Its backwards compatible for Cat5/e. To be honest this is going to suffice for a long time, consider that this type of cable was only being used with massive high-end server/switches. Due to costs plummeting, its now available for the everyday consumer, Cat7 is the very latest connection which is not even accessible mainstream at the moment (data transmission speeds are nowhere near to requiring Cat7). Better to have it for when or if it does increase but its unlikely within the next 5 years. This type of RJ45 uses all four of the wire cores instead of two (Cat5).Remember the longer the cable the decrease in latency and overall performance.Delivery was spot on, arrived within 3 days. Es un cable que esta muy bien pudiendo elegir la medida que mejor te convenga.

Se trata de un cable de buena calidad, puede doblarse sin problema y sirve aunque no tengas conexión gigabit.
