Works great if you can fix it to your tripod.
I’m a middle aged bloke, I have loads of nuts and bolts as well as my tools and stuff. And I could not find any bolt with the same thread as the captive nut in this. Not even 2 different tripods I’ve got, mounts, with 2 different thread bolts, neither fit.Sad smiley.Used a thinner (Meccano actually) long high tensile bolt with big washers and a nyloc nut, works perfect.

Great clamp for Ipad Mini
Purchased this to hold Ipad Mini on a tripod while i cycle using Zwift and a turbo trainer. The clamp came well packed and is supplied with addition stick on foam pads to grip your device without damage. Easy to fit, it just screws onto a standard tripod shoe and you are ready to go. I tested it on an Ipad Mini 2019 edition and the fit/grip was reassuring- no risk of it falling out or becoming dislodged. I also use this for flying my Mavic Drone- so I can have my controller connected seperately from the Ipad- this combo works well. Not too sure on the item’s longevity but it seems solid enough, and price break is decent for what it is.

Handy Device for a Tablet used as a Camcorder
Identical to the iKross iPad tripod mount, so who copied who? All the same traits as the iKross too – Holds an iPad3 in landscape mode (only) but make sure it’s well clamped if you fit it to a tripod with a 90 degree tilt. My iPad started to slowly slide out until I tightened the clamp! It’s a useful piece of kit if like me you want to take hands free video shots, or pan the iPad on a tripod. Only one downside so far, I found there was a slight induced wobble on touching the record button on the iPad screen, so leave time to edit out any wobbles on your shots! This happens no matter how gently you touch the iPad.I’ve only had it a few of weeks, and having now used it on two or three occasions, it has proved to be a very useful accessory, as I expected. It also seems well made. I can certainly recommend it for anyone who wants to use their tablet as a video camcorder.

if only I had bought it sooner
Watching films on my IPad in bed was uncomfortable, a real strain on my neck – I needed it to be positioned at eye level but didn’t have anything I could use to do it. I saw this product on Amazon ( I didn’t even know there was such a thing, lol) and remembered I had an old tripod for my camera that I no longer used. I attached this mount to it in seconds and hey presto! problem solved. It is a snug fit for my IPad Air and I don’t have any problem with it not staying in place. It is not going anywhere. It will also be great for taking photos or recording video on your iPad, if like me, you have an unsteady hand. Excellent device and at excellent price! Highly recommended.

Cheap plastic abd works but easy comes soart and not see easy sometimes to put the extender back in especially if you use the extra foam padding

Cheap and carful dose what it is described to do its low quality but adequate and holds a I pad air 2 with a case its cheap plastic but its less than £10 so above expectations holds My I pad to my windscreen so 5 stars from me

really good product – as this was so cheap i expected it to be just a stand in until i got some other model , (got it as needed something the next day) since ive used this for my Manfrotto clamp and arm i don’t think i need the more expensive one . I use only in landscape mode and this keeps the iPad in place fine as long as you set up correctly – i don’t move it much so very stable for me – came exactly as expected the next day . i recommend

Good Product
The product is what I was expecting for the price. It is completely made of plastic with a brass insert to mount on a tripod. It has thick foam to protect the rear of the tablet but much thinner to protect the ends. It does, however come with some spares. The exact dimensions for the tablet are: 11.2cm width and 12.3cm (min height), 20cm (max height). There is a lock on the rear which locks the height and keeps the tablet from moving around which keeps it secure when on the tripod. Although it won’t fit an iPad air in portrait it isn’t an issue because most tripods will allow adjustment to compensate for this. Overall, a good, well designed product.
