Great fan, was noisy, but can live with it.

Good product for use in outside kitchen. Easy to fit, not very noisy and does the job.

Lets get to the cons first. The plastics are a little thin and not well finished. There is also no template for the mounting bracket. However, anyone with basic DIY skills will have no problem unscrewing the bracket and using it as the template. Once mounted on the wall, nobody will notice the minor blemishes on the plastics. Now the good stuff. It’s black and will not discolor over time like many white goods. It’s also big and blows a gale at the lowest setting. The combination of black and orange stands out a bit but I like it. I usually suffer from high summer temperatures. This year is looking to be much more comfortable. I will report back if the review needs updating, but my initial impressions are good.

Fast, Super Fast and Fastest speeds
4 month update:Rubbish, worryingly I was sitting in the same room as the fan and there was a weird noise. The fan’s off but it was still sort of desperately struggling to start. I thought maybe I’d left it on and it had overheated… no I on/off and it worked fine. Turned it off and weird noises started again and it’s struggling to turn even though it’s off. So basically I can’t switch it off anymore unless I actually unplug it. Fire risk anyone?Originally 4 stars:The body’s a bit cheap and plasticky but the fan and cage are nice and solid. Has 3 speeds which are virtually indifferent; 95%, 99% and 100% speed it seems. All noisy, virtually no difference. No noisier than any other equivalent fan at top speed, just a shame that’s the only option. Volume of air shifted nowhere near same as the Draper it replaced but it’s doing a fair enough job.

Belaco remote control wall fan, very good value for money, and it does the job very well, and certainly looks the part too on my bedroom wall.. operates lovely with the remote control….Very highly recomended

Does the job but noisy
Air flow is good but noisy. Only intermittent setting is quite enough to sleep with. Bought for bunk beds. Fan pitch needs correcting to reduce air flow and noise from air friction.

I tried few Australian brands like Heller 40W wall fan before purchasing this with 55W motor. For a room 4m x 4m, this 55watt fan is the best. Fan blates made with soft plastic which may get damaged over time…and cable is a bit inferiour quality compared with Austrlian products. Other than those 2 minor issues, this is a great fan.
