Beautiful pattern and it works.
I am happy to say that my cats must find this cooling mat fabulous. As I write this, we are currently having one of our very rare heat waves. Of all the places that my cats have to lie, they have chosen to share this mat and look very comfortable when they do. Of course, they don’t share it at the same time, but as soon as one of them moves, the other jumps in their place!The only problem I have with it is that it can be folded into an attached pouch that has a handle. Both the handle and the pouch could prove detrimental to a pet. So, although it is very handy at keeping the mat neat when folded and easy to carry, it is too risky for my cats when the mat is opened out. I have had to cut the handle off and unpick the pouch from the rest of the mat.Now that it’s safe, I am pleased to say that I enjoy watching my cats keep cool using it.

Nicely finished, but of dubious effectiveness
This cooling mat appears on the surface to be a perfect idea, especially when you have periods of hot weather like we currently do.However, I’ve found that at least with my dog this mat has proven to be of little use or simply offering too little cooling for his size as he is quite a big dog being a German Boxer (Boxer/Alsatian cross). Whether this is down to the gel filling simply not being as effective as it should be, or more likely there’s not enough gel in the mat as it seems very thin and flimsy to contain pretty much anything.This is not to say that the mat is not resilient as my dog like many likes to ‘make his bed’ periodically and even with his really sharp claws he has not actually damaged the mat regardless of how much he’s scratched at it while re-arranging it. It also has the ability to be folded fairly small and stored in the folds of itself as it forms a sort of pocket/pouch for you to fit the majority of the mat into.But, I can’t give this more than a middling score as it simply doesn’t seem to cool my dog that much regardless of how hot the weather is, even when I touch it or hold it for a while I can’t detect any cooling feeling coming from the mat and my dog seems to prefer laying in front of the floor fan instead when hot. I’ll be generous and suggest that maybe this mat is simply not containing as much gel as it should as to my hands it feels virtually like just flat material, but it is not the miracle item its described at when I tested it.

Really good cooling mat for dogs also great that you can fold it up when itâs not needed to store it in a compact area just what I need for my husky dog as she can imagine hot weather are not good for her very cute

The last cooling mat we had lasted just a couple of days. The dog who frequently likes to adjust her bed managed to puncture it causing the gel to leak out.I’m hoping this one will last a bit longer.It’s a very good size and has a built-in pocket for storing the folded mat.

Good cooling ability
A neat presentation with a nicely sized cooling mat which is perfectly sized for my medium dog and provides a great cooling ability and also added comfort.I particularly like the fold ability as i can take this on our travels and also the design is lovely.Easy to clean and maintain, also confident on a great longevity, however its very expensive for what it is.
