It is sturdy
The 3 leg stand does provide stability, however, if you are looking to adjust the height very often during filming, I would buy a version where it’s one pole instead of 3 leg for convenience, so I could quickly adjust height, this is just a personal preference. Overall, it is a good quality product. Won’t go wrong if you looking to film things on a stable frame where you don’t need to adjust the heigh too often.

I love this! It can be adjusted in many ways.It is light weight and is sturdy.I tape our grandsons hockey games frequently and this is a god sent…Makes my task so much easier!Ps: This is to add to the reviews that says it won’t fit a tablet…Those ppl must not have seen the buttons at the back of the part that holds the device..There are 2 buttons at the back which extend arms that allow for the tablet..This stand can hold a tablet,cell phone and also an SLR camera..I have used all those devices with this stand!

Only comes with fixture that works with phone. For iPad and and other ad-ons youâd want to use with the tripod, you have to search again and buy separately. If purpose is only for phone, is sturdy enough. Bluetooth remote works well.
