Little tin of delightfulness
This is such a delightful little set. The packaging was robust as is the little tin the pans are kept in. Each pan is âgift wrappedâ in gold foil – itâs like opening a chocolate bar. Itâs such a sweet little set.The colours are beautiful and the quality is excellent – I’m very pleased with this addition to my art supplies and would definitely recommend this product both for quality and value for money. I love it.

These paints are delicious!!! So rich and beautiful – I can’t wait to use them. It was a joy to create a mini swatch to keep in the tin to see the colours on white watercolour paper. The only snag was figuring what to do with the two adhesive magnetic strips. I figured it out successfully and my pans are fixed securely in the tin, but a teeny instruction diagram would have been helpful. The tin is tiny (my hand for scale) but the pans are deep and there is plenty of paint.

The box is like a small piece of art
It is too early for me to write a review because I havenât used the colors yet. The box is really small but made with a lot of care. It looks like a small piece of art. Very beautiful. If the colors are made with the same care I am sure they look beautiful on the papers. Canât wait to use them.

Had a lovely surprise today. Delivery was given as 17-26 February but arrived on the 1st! Came in a beautifully presented card box with the tin inside and when I opened the tin, inside were 6 good sized blocks of beautiful colours. What I liked was, I was able to peel off the colour description and stick them in the lid of the box and place the blocks on the metallic strip that keeps the blocks in place in the tin. I obviously havenât used them yet as I only got them today but Iâm looking forward to using them with my water colour paintings.

Not very pigmented
Tin is really lovely – its great that they can be stuck onto magnetic strips so that they don’t fall out or rattle around, this is very thoughtful.However, I do not find these paints very sparkly or pigmented unless held up into the light. I’m using Arches paper, so not a cheap brand that doesn’t take paint well. I’ve seen some reviews where the paint swatches are very shimmery and deep in colour so this is disappointing. There is very little green in the Chocolate green paint.

Great colours, very metallic
So incredibly tiny, but the intensity of the colours is incredible. I’ve had a lot of fun experimenting with these. I was more interested in the silver and gold colours, but they’re all really good. I was happy with the price too, as a little goes a long way, and I can see myself using these for a long time. I do wish that they fit inside the metal container better, but it’s not worth losing a star over.
