Good value cable, works with a Mac mini late 2014
I use this cable to connect a Mac mini (late 2014) to an Alienware 4K gaming screen and it works well. It’s a good length of cable and not stiff so easy to plug into both ends. I get full 4K resolution through HDMI though it maxes out at 30Hz (limitation of the Mac mini, not the cable). 4K video looks really nice. Good value for money, definite buy.

The brief for this job kept changing right up to the last minute. We needed three big displays down the length of a huge room with 150 delegates in it. This was the longest run. It was also working with a 4 ways HDMI splitter. I had some concerns but had to go for it. I was taken by surprise by the amplifier pellet in the middle of the cable length. But I guess it needed it. I had to pull the cable along the cable tray above the ceiling tiles and I thought that might cause problems. But it was very robust and the ends are tapered. It pulled right through, and despite my initial doubts the picture was fine. It was no different from the images on the other displays, including the ones on the 3m cables. So yes, it worked fine!
