Great Product
I just have to leave a great review of this product. This is the second size of this product i have ordered/ used in a week from this company and each was used to core through a 270mm solid mass concrete wall.Both Cores worked perfect, concrete coring is based on abrasion using diamond grit and with all rotary core products this simply takes a little pressure and allow the core time to work it’s way thru the concrete.Both worked perfect, rotary motion only (No Hammer) and dry cutting. Twonperfect cores. Easy to Use, Good Speed, value Product and Durable.Lovely to see a Value for money quality product available ð ð âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

Awesome Core Bit
I was sceptical this would do the Job but very Happy with it’s performance.Needed to Bore a Hole through an old Council House Bedroom wall circa 1940’s so very hard propa Brick for a Portable Air Con Unit outlet Pipe.It took about 70 Mins with short breaks for me and the Core Drill Bit so neither of us over heated, Did the job very nicely, I was fairly impressed to be honest.The Drill I started off with was my Makita DHR243Z SDS but it started to thermal cut out about 20 mins into the task so I swapped out to my Makita DHP486 which was far better at coping with the Core Bit.I didn’t use any Water as instructed for this Core Bit, But wow the amount of Dust produced would have me setting my stall out to capture as much as possible, Warning even with a Henry Hoover close to the Bit dust goes everywhere.

Job Done!
Good quality!Definitely worth the money!Easily cut through double skin 100mm breeze blocks and left a really clean hole.I bought the 102mmx150mm drill bit to install an extractor in a new shower room.I must admit I was anxious about the wisdom of buying this core drill bit after reading the recent reviews. But, based on my experience, this core drill bit is perfectly suitable for what I needed to do.I took my time – overall it took about an hour but with only 20 mins total drilling time as I took frequent breaks. I set my standard, basic domestic drill to almost the slowest speed. Every 30 seconds or so I withdrew the bit to clear any dust. I took a short break every 5 minutes to ensure I wasnât getting tired and could keep the drill straight – and also to ensure the pilot bit was secure (it got a bit loose a couple of times – but you can feel this so stop and reattach it)No damage or even any significant wear to the teeth. Itâs impossible to tell whether the cutters have any diamond content – but I know this was good enough for normal density breeze blocks and will be serviceable for many more similar jobs.Make sure youâve fully tightened the adaptor. I used the 10mm adaptor which, with care, worked well enough in my regular drill chuck.Based on my experience today, Iâm happy to recommend it to anyone whoâs wavering on purchasing this. Itâs certainly cheaper than hiring a drill bit and high end drill.Good luck!

Not worth getting
This is not worth getting (rubbish)only went though 1/4 of a brick. its got no cutting diamond bits on the edges of the cutters. I went back to old school and drilling a series of hole and chiseling out the hole.

Good hole cutter
Good bit of kit. However, if using for the first time, get some advice. I used it to cut a hole through a dble brick and concrete wall for aircon outlet (162 mm).Wasnât easy but itâs a bit of a learning curve.Advice:Let the drill do itâs work. Donât put too much pressure.No hammer drill action.Hold the drill absolutely horizontal (or vertical drilling down)Let the drill and bit cool down in-between drillingBe patient, it takes a while.
