Worth the money if you want the basics
Don’t expect all the bells and whistles at this price. What you get is a very capable code reader, not only providing the code but also the description providing a good starting point for solving your issues. You can also reset the codes if you want to. It wont read any non standard manufacturer codes. Excellent instructions for use.

My engine light appeared on a 21 reg Mercedes which was a big surprise but I also knew taking it to them would involve an even bigger price! – plus after previous issues with the Mercedes garage, I don’t really trust or believe in their quality and service.I ordered this to check what the issue was and it accurately told me the code and issue.I had to take it to a Mercedes approved garage for a diagnostic but the report came back with the exact same details.It doesn’t take long to use and quickly retrieved the error code. (See the photo) – A.I and Google then let me know possible causes and fixes.The small size means you can keep it in the car just in case you have any issues like this. I would highly recommend!!!

Works well, gets rid of false codes. Be careful you read the code correctly and don’t simply clear all the faults. Product is well made and requires a little cortion that is not a problem with the device, it’s the user

When the OBD2 scanner is as confused as you are!
Bought the MOTOPOWER MP69033 OBD2 Scanner, hoping it would be the Sherlock Holmes of car diagnostics. Instead, itâs more like the Watsonâjust sort of standing there, looking at me with a blank stare when I knew something was wrong.I plugged it into my car, which has a few obvious faults (you know, the “check engine” light isnât just there for decoration), and… nothing. No fault codes. Itâs like the scanner was just too polite to tell me what was really going on. Maybe it was having a good day, or maybe my car was just that mysterious.In fairness, itâs super easy to use, compact, and well-made, so if you just want to check if your car is âfine,â this is your guy. But if youâre dealing with something a little more complicated, you might find this tool a bit like asking a magic 8-ball for advice. It works great for basic checks, but when it comes to real issues? It might just give you a âdonât knowâ and leave you scratching your head.I still recommend it for simple reads, but for fault-finding? It might need a little more… personality.

Awesome little gadget for the money, does what it says it does. Was able to quickly identify error code pointing at faulty MAF sensor that has resulted in me cleaning the sensor and clearing the code. Not yet popped back up so fingers crossed no need for a trip to garage that would have cost me probably many times the cost of this device just for them to diagnose before even replacing the filter. Even if it does pop back up, I know roughly what I can expect to pay due to understanding what error has been triggered.
