Good for small projects
I had a small collection of single-board computers and a network switch creating a web of cables on my desk. This little frame has managed to bring some order to that chaos. Assembly was straightforward, and everything felt surprisingly rigid once put together. Mounting the equipment was easy, and the included shelf was perfect for the one machine that didn’t have rack ears. It now sits neatly on the corner of my desk, looking much more organised and professional. The small footprint is its biggest strength, turning a messy hobbyist setup into something compact and contained. It’s solid enough that I am not worried about anything shifting or falling out. All the parts fit together properly, and the final structure is quite stable. It has definitely tidied up my workspace.

Great mini rack!
A very very nice 10 inch rack. Materials super high quality, steel for the majority, with rubber feet and plastic top and sides. When put together, it is solid as a rock, very easy to move with the handles too.6u size which is actually a bit bigger, if you don’t put a shelf on the bottom and use the little tray as a base, you get an extra 0.5 U down low. Which is handy.Included panels include a shelf, a blank panel, a little SBC shelf, and even some SBC adapter boards. The included SBC boards work with either a Pi 5 or Pi 4 – there is a little switch on them to switch which one, very nice. However, if like me you already have your pi in a case, you will have to remove it to use these, as the design overlaps with the pi itself. Quite annoying.All parts are super high quality steel, very sturdy and strong. The white coating is also super nice, it doesn’t feel like it will chip off too easily. Included screwdriver is a waste of time, use a proper one or you will be regretting your decision.Overall, a great little 10 inch rack. More than enough for your networking equipment, your mini PCs, you Pis, even your NAS. I am over the moon with it. I can’t wait to 3D print some specific attachments, and really make it my own. The options out there for parts, even from tecmojo themselves, is also vast.A great mini rack!

nice compact 10″ cabinet but some minor assembly quirks
I own a fair amount of tec mojo kit now and find their product line to be very good on the whole so i was happy to offered this mini rack to review.it’s a nice compact 6u rack with open front and back with enclosed side panels. airflow is very good the bottom and it looks like it has mounting holes at the right spacing to attach two 80mm fans or a single 120mm on the bottom plate which has a small amount of clearance underneath but may benefit from the whole thing being put in risers to increase the gap for better airflow.assembly is straightforward but also where the product sadly loses its 5 star rating. the mounting hole on one of the holes in the top where the handles and acrylic panel attach just will not accept the screw and looking at other reviews they had the exact same issue. i’m able to get it to bit enough the handle doesn’t wobble but i know it’s not fully seated and it drives me a little nuts every time i think about it. additionally despite the truly excellent packaging the main shelf rack ears were extremely misshapen and i had to bend them back into shape to be able to install it. just a couple of small issues which marred an otherwise very impressive overall experience.it comes with a rack for mounting two pi’s and a couple of expansion boards. i don’t have use for it at the moment (all my pis are in another tecmojo cabinet already. but it is a very useful extra to have.i think it’s reasonably priced for what is a very nice mini rack it just loses a perfect score due to the slight quality control issues as i’d be disappointed to encounter them if i was buying this with my own money.

Ideal for small setups
Built a compact setup for side projects and this fit better than expected. No wobble, no rattling parts, and enough space to stay tidy without wasting it. The panel doors fit snug, and the shelf layout made cable runs a lot easier. Doesnât feel oversized like others Iâve used, and fits well on a desktop. I had a few components that needed regular access and the layout works nicely for that. Once everything was in place, the airflow helped keep temps reasonable even without extra fans. Setup took less time than I thought, and it doesnât look out of place next to other gear. Itâs been running smoothly without needing any tweaks.

Super rack for a Home Assistant rig
I have a lot of Tecmojo kit for both the 19″ server rack and desktop rack I’m already using. I got this to house a seperate mini-rack for Home Assistant. It’s really good” The dedicated Pi shelf is especially good and the connection diverters are a super idea that means I don’t have to look for a seperate Pi shelf like I did for the 19″ rack. Everything is both included and well made. The rack is presented well-packed in a surprisingly small box and is 6U plus an air gap which is a great design. Very pleased with the whole set-up.

A very good value mini rack.
This is a very solid well made rack-albeit small. The build quality is excellent offering a balance of the rigidity of a steel frame and lightness with acrylic side panels that make it airflow friendly.The size is perfect for tight or desktop areas where a standard 19â rack is overkill. Ideal for compact systems; Raspberry Pi, micro servers, home labs, AV, NAS, SBS clusters and networking setups.The rack can be wall mounted if desired, which makes the handle superfluous, however Tecmojo make a dedicated wall mounted rack that is £10.00 cheaper than this 10â desktop version.I donât particularly like the manufacturers logo so prominent displayed on the front. And being open at both the front and back itâs not very secure. If the logo and security bother you then the Kenuco Soho would probably appeal to you more. However, there is one big issue with that model-the price-itâs over 3 times as much as this Tecmojo model.
