  1. Very Review-y

It’s a decent budget mouse with a lot of features for the money
🖱️ I was lucky enough to pick this up and review it as part of the Amazon Vine programme :)📖 This is a review for the CROSS ZEBRA T66 gaming mouse in white.⚠️ It works over Bluetooth, 2.4G wireless with the dongle, or plugged in with the cable. Max DPI is 3600.📦 What came in the boxMouse, dongle, charging cable, and a short manual. What I liked:✅ The three ways to connect are useful. I used wireless most of the time and swapped to the cable for gaming without much noticeable lag✅ The honeycomb design makes it very light and comfortable, especially for longer sessions✅ Battery life is decent, a few days between charges✅ RGB lighting looks nice without being distracting (it’s no Razer Chroma though)✅ Extra buttons are handy once you map themWhat I didn’t like:❌ The plastic feels cheap compared with more expensive brands❌ The clicks are quite loud❌ The software is quite clunky and a bit basic❌ DPI is fine for casual use but not great if you want higher precisionThe bottom line:🔻 It’s a decent budget mouse with a lot of features for the money. Works well for everyday gaming and general use, but it won’t replace a higher end mouse if you want premium build and performance.🌟 My rating:★★★½☆ – Above Average

Gaming mouse with versatile connection options
While I am not a gamer (and thus can’t comment on those specific aspects of this mouse), I do like to use gaming mice because of their greater sensitivity and configurability. I have only used wired versions previously so was interested to see how a wireless one would fare. The connection options for this mouse are very versatile – you can either use it as a wired mouse by plugging the (long, braided, with an anti-interference device on it) usb-c to usb-a cable directly into your computer; or you can use it wirelessly via the 2.4GHz dongle; or you can connect via Bluetooth, with two separate Bluetooth channels available for connecting to more than one device. I connected the mouse to my work laptop with the cable and it detected it immediately via plug and play (the laptop is restricted so I cannot install any programs). I have also successfully connected it to it with the wireless dongle and also Bluetooth. The connection seems equally stable in practice whichever option you use (obviously battery life could be a consideration if gaming for lengthy periods, in which case you’d want to use it wired). The mouse has a mesh type top, with configurable lights around the base and inside the mesh. The scroll wheel works smoothly, and the side buttons function as forward and back buttons. The mouse is on the large side – I am female, 5ft5, and it is comfortable in my hand but I don’t think it would suit anyone smaller. There are also four rubbery pads underneath the base of the mouse which make it grip the mousemat or tabletop to a degree, which I was surprised by. The standard DPI setting is fine for non-gaming use, it is a simple matter to adjust the sensitivity with a button on the mouse if you need a higher setting.Nice looking mouse which works well.

Nice full sized mouse, comfortable to use, RGB can be switched off
This is quite a nice wireless mouse with a full sized body that sort-of looks like my Razer Deathadder, though not as tall, and also features an interesting honeycomb cut-out design. It features three methods of connectivity which allows for broad compatibility with devices. Bluetooth pairing is very simple, and works with any modern Bluetooth device that supports mice, such as my iPad Pro or my Windows laptop. There’s also 2.4Ghz via a USB adapter which is stored under the mouse. This will allow wireless connectivity with pretty much any device with a USB port that supports wired keyboards, such as game’s consoles, TV’s and more. When battery is low, you can just switch to wired connection with the included USB Type-A to Type-C braided cable which is a generous 2m long. All buttons (left, right, DPI, and side) are very clicky and seem very responsive. The side buttons are good, and I find these very useful for certain apps such as web browsers with the ability to go back and forward in your history with a single click. It features multiple levels of DPI up to a reasonable 3600 DPI which I use for general tasks, and the lower being ideal for more precise work such as drawing apps. The RGB effects are a bit hit and miss – some just look like christmas lights, and a few look nice – a better diffuser around the lights would make it look less like string lights. There is software for configuring macros, DPI and keybinds which the seller helpfully provided – it does need to be running in order to ensure macros run correctly, but keybinds and DPI can be used without the software running. At below £16.99, it’s quite good value for money – makes for a great budget gaming mouse, or a pretty good every day use mouse.

  5. SonicQuack

    Good value gaming mouse.
This is a relatively lightweight gaming mouse. It features the now-standard hardware DPI adjustment, thumb buttons, and a mouse wheel with 3rd button, which is lit via an LED. Further colour-cycling LEDS edge-light the mouse and also the body. These can be disabled via a switch underneath (or leave just the wheel LED on). The mesh design could keep your palm cool, if that’s actually a benefit for anyone. The cable is braided, which keeps it from snagging, and it’s a decent length too. There are a couple of odd design choices. The first is the curve of the plastic and the ends of the mouse buttons. It looks bowed or malformed. It has no effect on usage, so it’s not a problem; it just looks weird. The design choice that does affect me is that the thumb buttons are a little too far along the side of the body. This requires me to move my hand further on top of the mouse (unnatural) or reach a little for the thumb button (uncomfortable). It’s not a deal breaker, but for twitch gaming, it would be an issue for me.Wired or wireless, responsiveness is fine.
