Customers say

Customers find this gaming mouse to be of professional quality and comfortable for general use, with buttons in sensible places and easy to configure. However, the functionality receives mixed feedback – while the I-CUE software works well, some report issues with the middle mouse button stopping working. Moreover, the wheel breaks within 6 months, and customers disagree on the feel, with some finding it perfect in hand while others describe it as stiff to press. Additionally, the click speed and ease of use also receive mixed reviews, with customers reporting double-click issues and finding it extremely frustrating to use.

For Those After Comfort and a Great Wireless Experience
Bought this mouse recently and loved it ever since. It is soooo comfortable to just use and makes gaming feel fluid, despite the mouse’s substantial, but not at all annoying weight. Corsair’s iCue software is great as well, with all the features you’d expect. Overall I love this mouse, and for the features you get, which in my opinion is only rivalled by the much more expensive (almost double!) G502 lightspeed by Logitech. Additionally, while gaming, the mouse has no noticeable input lag, which is a big sticking point for those afraid to adopt wireless mice (imo, I think it is better than my last mouse, which was wired). Battery life is also very good, I can go 3 days without charging it, then charged it while I am out the next, which is great. The mouse’s build quality is great, with the matte finish not picking up fingerprints or scuffing, and the buttons all feel solid and reliable.

Excellent gaming mouse with multiple connection options
I have a number of devices using wireless connection and so had to opt for Bluetooth connection as some devices were interfering with one another but it works perfectly, no lag now.Programming the buttons and changing profiles/etc took a bit of getting my head around (the iCue software is not exactly intuitive!) but again, once I now know what I am doing it is fine and I find it easy to make small changes when I want.I use the mouse primarily for WOW gaming and it allows me to have the 5 side/front side buttons individualised, and the mouse wheel scroll and clicks also (however I choose to set those three in game)But does what I ask it to, feels good weight and ergonomically and glad this was the model I went for in the end after a lot of research.

Buyer beware – Great mouse… but the mouse wheel stopped working in under 3 months gentle use.
UPDATE – having sent off the mouse for RMA I received a replacement very quickly, so while still unhappy that it broke within a short period of time the RMA process was easy and fast.I’ve had this mouse about 3 months and just now the mouse wheel stopped working and I’m just outside the return window with Amazon so having to use RMA to get the mouse fixed. I’m really disappointed that the wheel which I really don’t use that much is no longer working. I’ve owned quite a few mice over the years and never have I had the wheel stop working/broken. I paid good money for this and to have it break through normal use in such a short period of time is appalling. I’m back on my £15 USB mouse I bought 3 years which still works perfectly. I’m not sure I would recommend this mouse to anyone unless you only use it for a few hours a day, besides the wheel being broken the batteries really don’t last nearly long enough for all-day general use plus gaming in the evenings as I’m charging it constantly. Its not all bad, it has some nice features, and I have other corsair equipment and the profiles I can create in iCue and then control from the mouse are nice and it fits nicely in my hand and has a nice weight/balance when using it.

Mixed feelings, had it for several years. Fragile mouse.
TL,DR; You’re better off with another company with more robust mice, Corsair are somewhat overpriced and their customer service wasn’t at all what I expected. I’ve purchased over 10 products from them and almost all have stopped working or had some fault sooner than anticipated.–This is the second time I’ve purchased a Corsair IronClaw. On the first one the scroll wheel physically broke, there’s a small plastic ‘clutch’ which snapped and so the wheel turned but didn’t register any scrolling unless you press hard and scroll harshly. My second IronClaw purchase was in October 2023 and I had a similar issue. The scroll wheel stopped registering completely but this time it wasn’t the same plastic part that broke so I think a piece of hardware was faulty. After doing some research I found several other people had issues with the mouse wheel being fragile. The mouse when it was worked, was perfect, it worked really well, fitted my large hands and the battery life was decent. But the customer service from Corsair wasn’t good enough, they didn’t offer to return, replace or repair the item. Being a patron of their products for 8 years with over 10 purchases this was enough to make me switch to another brand.

    Poor vinyl lets it down
It’s a nice mouse but the vinyl is peeling after 2 months, surprising from Corsair.

Good mouse with a few downsides
Very good gaming mouse. However it does have its down sides too. For one, during quarantine I have been doing nothing much other than that cod grind amirite, therefore I’ve noticed the battery life isn’t incredible. Will last around 8 hours on one full charge (I did charge fully before first use as instructed). The mouse has a very decent ergonomic, hand filling, comfortable grip. The buttons are easily reached and overall the general feel of the mouse is great. The cons are that it doesn’t work extremely well with the iCue software for mouse rebinds and being a fan of a nice rgb setup the lights are not always what they’re meant to be in the software either. The mouse will sometimes refuse to connect to the 2.4ghz dongle provided and therefore must be connected with provided cable which I have no problems with. I have tried using the software to upgrade driver and firmware and also to repair the dongle and mouse, but to no avail. Sometimes it does connect but during gameplay will frequently disconnect and stutter. Maybe I got a bad batch but hasnt been an overall perfect experience I was expecting from the £66.99 I payed for it. To further explain the mouse button rebind experience, sometimes the mouse buttons revert back to original binds, sometimes they don’t work at all, and sometimes when the buttons are pressed the mouse thinks I’m holding the button down. So if I’m doing anything wrong or if anyone knows a fix to any of my problems, please get in contact to help. Thank you

It is ergonomic and has lot of options for the settings, however the material is very bad, it started to peel off from the finger and palm base after a few weeks of use. very bad quality material.
