Somehow in our last move, I managed to lose a power cord for an Eero (mesh network) device. The cord I needed was an AC outlet to a USB-C. I ordered this â45W USB C Adapter for 5G Networking Equipment T-Mobile 5G Internet Gateway Arcadyan KVD21, Sagemcom Fast 5688W, TMO-G4AR TMO-G4SE Router, Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Ultra USW-Flex-2.5G-8 Chargerâ in the hopes that it would work.I donât understand much about amps and watts and such. The back of the Eero device said â15Wâ and in the description of this cord, it seemed to indicate that it could handle a 15W device and wouldnât cause any problems. The description says: âOutput current of DC 5V 3A 15W, 9V 3A 27W, 12V 3A 36W, 15V 3A 45W, 20V 2.25A 45W USBC for efficient power conversionâ â so that seemed to me like it would work.Iâm happy to report that it works perfectly!!! It has a nice long cord and it solved my problem.
