Bought this for the second time, unlike my first one got stolen…. but luckily they been able to disable the other diagnostic machine.I could have bought another one for less, but honestly this machine does literally a lot of things.Worth the money. Top fault detection. Easy to use.

Not a cheap device for sure, but considering it does EVERYTHING you would expect a high end diagnostic scanner to do, you really do get what you pay for.It even programs new keys for youAnd has the software to diagnose most modern cars using newer protocallsI doubt very much there is a better packed scanner on the market for the money, normally this kind of tech would cost well over £1500And the fact I can now perfrom my own services and reset the annoying service reminders is a massive bonusSo at £799 this is a bit of a bargain!Highly recommended for the professional and DIY mechanic too

Don’t expect immediate support from Launch.
I bought this in 2024 and has done a great job until today in August 2025, the updates have been regular but today the updates must have caused a problem of freezing everything when doing a diagnostic check on my 2006 Range Rover.The only way to solve it was to do a factory reset, reinstall the software and log into the account to get it all up and working!That was the trouble I had forgotten my login details!Simple I thought just register again using the same email address oh how I was wrong!Launch require the serial numbers from the Tablet and the Vci then an activation number which I still have.The Vci is registered to my old account and would not let me register it to the new account, now for the bad bit.Launch are not answering my messages via thier support chat and requests for help from several other communication channels and thier website is a nightmare to navigate past mainly sales pages!!!!☆☆☆Update☆☆☆ 24hrs later Launch got back to me and gave me my original sign in details.Live chat was none existent when I tried it all day!To be blunt backup is not great.It worked really well until this!

This was purchased to replace my 2019 version of the same scanner. After years of use I decided it was time to upgrade. The old unit still did the job but was getting slow simply from being so “old”, this new one was like night and day.The GUI had mostly the same feel as the old one so I was happy to be able to use it right away with no learning curve. The scanner arrived with two cases. one for the scanner itself which was nice and another for a huge amount of adapters for older vehicles and some that I honestly don’t know what they are used for but it’s nice to know they are there if I ever find myself needing them but also nice to not have them in the same case as the tablet so I’m not carrying them around all of the time.Operational it works exactly how one would expect, no lagging other than on some manufactures in which case that’s the OEMs issue and they lag no matter what scanner is used. The tablet itself feels nice and sturdy and the kickstand on the back is a welcomed addition to the old unit I had.One really nice thing it the ability to add interfaces in the future. I plan to add on the Scopebox when my oscilloscope from another vendor is ready to be replaced.
