Solved a problem
I belong to a woodturning club that holds demonstrations once a month. A lighting gantry above the lathe holds the three cameras and lights, plus two really big screens so the club members can see close-in details from the back of the hall. There is also a small 6-inch HDMI monitor so the demonstrator can see what is being shown on the screens.We had to replace the ancient cameras with something more modern, and opted for CCTV PTZ cameras that can be powered, operated and the signal retrieved using one PoE Ethernet cable per camera, which is a huge improvement over the mass of heavy equipment that was on it originally.The gantry is put up each time so I wanted a system that allowed me to attach Ethernet cables easily. This little patch panel was perfect for allowing pass-through PoE cables at one end of the gantry, with a 10m loom of 5 Ethernet cables going back to the control desk. The extra two cables consist of 1 x HDMI over Ethernet coming back from the control desk to an HDMI splitter to gey data to the two big and one litte screens, and a spare, just in case.Very simple, very cheap, and working solution.

This is exactly what it says it is and works great in my generic 10in rack.I personally always prefer the coupler type keystones rather than punch down as I find it easier to maintain and this is as such a welcome inclusion on this rack that is aimed at smaller installs / SBC type labs, and makes for nice quick changes.Feels nice and sturdy and includes rack screws (though no cage nuts if you are using that type of rack)Metal is nicely finished and the whole thing feels sturdy enough. Could have used strain relief bar at the back but that’s preference.Niche item priced accordingly.

Avoid. Headaches.
Been trying to diagnose a network issue, replaced all cables, switches, even a nic, etc. turns out it’s this. Anything connected to it has an unstable connection, often drops 2.5 or 1gbe down to 100mps on links, introduced jitter, lags etc. as soon as this removed from equation, all is well again.

Ogni porta è numerata progressivamente, purtroppo non sono presenti indicatori led. Il dispositivo è interamente realizzato in alluminio, con la stessa finitura nera opaca delle componenti già presenti nel RackMate T1. Considerando il rapporto qualità/prezzo, le funzionalità offerte e la qualità dei materiali, assegno al prodotto un punteggio di 5 stelle su 5.
