I stuck this into my 10″ homelab rack.I love the colours, I used matching coloured little patch cables to connect up to the Ubiquiti Unfii USW-Flex-Mini 5-Port switch I’ve got in the rack too

Unfortunately, while the Keystones are RJ45, they are not CAT6a compatible as they do not connect the ground shielding between the two sides.

This is nice and handy for anybody building a mini rack. Its way overpriced though for what it is and there’s cheaper alternatives. It does the job though so if you’re happy with the price you wont be dissapointing by the product.

Il pannello patch di rete fornito da GeeekPi è un accessorio realizzato appositamente per il RackMate T1 ( o qualsivoglia armadietto rack con slot di larghezza 10 pollici ed altezza di mezza unita 1U ) con l’obiettivo di estendere ed organizzare fino ad un massimo di 12 cavi Ethernet categoria 6 o inferiore ( fino a 10 Gbps su distanze consigliate inferiori di 50 metri ). Ogni porta è numerata progressivamente, purtroppo non sono presenti indicatori led. Il dispositivo è interamente realizzato in alluminio, con la stessa finitura nera opaca delle componenti già presenti nel RackMate T1. Nella scatola sono inoltre inclusi i connettori Keystone RJ45 Cat6 che si adattano alla perfezione al pannello patch di rete. Le colorazioni sono molto vivaci e consentono una rapida individuazione. Si agganciano e si sganciano facilmente senza danneggiarsi. Avendo considerato il rapporto qualità /prezzo, le funzionalità offerte e la qualità dei materiali, assegno al prodotto un punteggio di 5 stelle su 5.

Mein Rack ist meistens voll mit Kabeln da ich ehr der Typ bin “Function over Form” aber wenn es um ein kleines Serverrack geht ist ordnung schon wichtig. Sonst kommt man schlecht an die Geräte an die man dran muss.Wie ich das von GeekPi kenne, wieder mal top verarbeitetes teil. Die Keystones sind auch aus Plastik aber dafür wertig. Sie klicken leicht ein und können dann sofort verkabelt werden. Schrauben sind auch direkt dabei so mit muss man nicht extra welche Kaufen.Kurze Patchkabel holen und schon hat man ein Ordentliches Rack 🙂
