Nice mouse, annoying that software permanently required to personalise
I like the shape and size and simplicity of this mouse and it’s a good price. However, for those who don’t like bloatware and don’t like RGB, you will be frustrated. You can google it yourself, effectively you cannot use on-board memory of this mouse to disable RGB then get rid of the lighting effects. You can install GG Steelseries and alter it, but if you uninstall the software it will remove the personalisation. So if you don’t want RGB prepare to have GG installed all the time and on any computer you use.

No LED control
There seems to be no way to deactivate the the on-click LED lights.The GG app is useless in this regard.Verry annoying.

Poor precision
Very poor mouse. Have had 10+ Sensei models in the past but unfortunately the sensor on the rival is not fit for high-speed and precise movements. Huge disappointment.

Ben fareden anlamam pek. Bundan önceki HYPERX Pulse Fire Core RGB farem aÅaÄı ve yukarı scroll yaparken takılıp terse hareket etmeye baÅlayınca bunu aldım. Bende steelseries Rival 3 Wireless var ama pili çabuk bittiÄi için bir tane de acil durum kablolu faresi olmak zorunda. Zaten Steelseries GG konsolunu kullanıyorum ve aÅinayım. Ayarları hemen yapıyorsunuz. Alttaki RGB benim çok hoÅuma gitti. RGB Mousepad ile gayet güzel ikili oldular. DPI 5 ayarı var. Yeterli.

In fase di acquisto (fatto a luglio) nella scheda del prodotto sul sito steelseries tra le faq era specificato che nella memoria del mouse si potesse salvare i settaggi per i DPI e le impostazioni dei led RGB.Purtroppo non è così per quanto riguarda le impostazioni per i led RGB, si possono spegnere modificare solamente se nel pc si installa Steelseries GG, se collegate il mouse in un differente pc vi ritroverete nuovamente i led rgb accesi (o nel caso avevate qualche configurazione ve li ritroverete di default.Ho aperto un ticket a a luglio 2025 dove steelseries ha confermato il problema e che rilasceranno un fix senza specificare quando. al 13/10/2025 il problema persiste quindi vi sconsiglio questo prodotto se avete intenzione di usare questo mouse anche su altri pc oppure volete semplicamente disabilitare i led rgb senza usare il programma steelseries GG
