Sturdy and Soild design & construction.
The 9U high by 19 inch data cabinet is a flat-pack (needs construction) which takes about under a hour after checking off all the parts they even supply a Allen key, the only tool required is a Philips/cross head screwdriver. All the part fit together well, the part are all high quality, and construction is relatively easy, the door can either be LH or RH opening, the unit represents good value for money. Like all the data cabinets, it would be good if there were some dust filters (foam type) to cover some of the slots to provide dust control, were available.

Best you’ll get for the price
You get what you pay for, and a little more. It is built well but did have some very slight alignment issues.There are grounding points and fan and cable knockouts, as well as a wall mount hole template. The key for the front door is a bit crap. Good bit of kit overall

Quite good but flawed
I’ve used big racks before, this is the first I’ve bought myself for my home. Ultimately it does the job, and has some nice features, but not without its problems. I have the 6U version.The good:* Once it’s assembled, it’s sturdy* Panels and doors fit well* Vents, top and bottom cable outlets are well placedThe not-so-good* The bolts and nuts are made by the lowest bidder. Some really didn’t want to grab straight* There was some minor damage: one panel had a ding in it, one joint was bent and needed straightening before it could be assembled* The nuts / bolts on the rear uprights are fiddly to get to, because the back is part of the structure. If you plan and read ahead, you’d put those in before assembling the first step in the instructions* The rear cable / plug access is big. Handy if you’re bolting it to the wall over a socket, but I’m not, so I wanted something big enough to pass cables through, not big enough to pass a domestic cat throughThe bad* It doesn’t come with rails, and they don’t sell rails for the 450mm unitIn hindsight, I should have noticed the lack of rails in the pictures. I didn’t know that racks without rails even existed, never seen one before. So I had to improvise and bodge to hold heaving units securely. For this reason, this will be consigned to a fancy cupboard in the shed as soon as I source a new rack.

Great network rack for SOHO use, excellent quality.
Item came flat packed in a heavy box, box was damaged by courier, however inside the box was so well padded that everything inside was pristine and undamaged. Great item, took about an hour to assemble, very impressed with quality and size, also purchased a few accessories for rack including PDU, Brush strips and of course a nice shiny new 2.5GB switch 🙂
