Really good laptop for the money, can’t fault it
I honestly wasnât expecting very much for £299, BUT I have to say Iâm really, really pleased and surprised with how good this S15 N2 Laptop is ⦠or should that be Lapbook!. Iâve been using it for general office type stuff (its plenty fast enough for all Outlook apps) , email, general Google / Edge searches and watching YouTube and Netflix etc for a month now and so far really nothing to complain about.
I went for the 16Gb RAM which probably helps with the speed etc. Iâm not a gamer so I canât comment on its suitability for that more intensive type usage . The Intel N100 quad core CPU seems fast enough too at 0.8GHz and the onboard intel graphics card seems to be perfectly adequate for everything Iâve used this laptop for. The screen and display are also damn good at this price. The 512Gb M.2 SSD is really fast and the laptop boots up very very quickly as well as allowing fast loading of files and docs. It comes with Windows 11preloaded, but youâll probably need to update that when you first use the laptop.
Setting up was easy, just make a cup of coffee, relax and let Windows do most of the work.
There are plenty of USB ports of various types along with a Ethernet and HDMI ports. The battery life seems pretty good too, I havenât run a check on this, but itâs certainly not been an issue so far.
The PSU seems to get very warm when itâs charging the battery, but in normal use its fine. Itâs a shame that the only USB-C port is also the PSU plug too, but I got a nice little USB-3 to USB-C adaptor and use that in a USB-3 port.
Build quality ie the case and keyboard seem good.
Overall if you are looking for a very reasonably priced general usage laptop for schoolwork, a student or general day to day home/office use then honestly you canât go wrong with this laptop.

Excellent Value for the Price
I recently bought the 15.6 Inch Lapbook Laptop I have thoroughly enjoyed using it. The product arrived well protected. Download speed very good, easy to use and I love the clarity of the screen display and the slimline look. It is definitely lightweight! I had a small problem registering for the warranty but the Fusion5 Team were excellent in helping me to do this. I am looking forward to using this laptop for many years! I think it is an excellent product for the price.

Nice lightweight lapbook
Needed a reasonably priced laptop quickly to be used for office work and streaming. Hadn’t heard of this brand but am happily surprised it is a nice little lapbook – smooth with the higher RAM so worth paying the extra. Have been using for just over a month and the battery so far is great and has been lasting me for days. The screen is fantastic – clear and colourful. I find the keyboard responsive and easy to use. I am disappointed though that the laptop cannot see my tv and phone – but can pick up all next door’s bluetooth devices (?!?) so I am having to use the HDMI connection to tv at the moment until I look into this issue further. Also the charger cable length could be longer.

Really happy, fantastic Laptop
Recently bought Lapbook Laptop and we are very happy with our purchase. Easy transfer of information from our old laptop Boot times and set up are fast. Only had it a few days but super impressed. For the price it passes all expectations. The screen size is perfect and WiFi connection is easy to set up.

Excellent Value and Performance
Excellent value, nice looking with a spec unexpected at this price point.
For normal day to day activities, this Laptop does the job well for office applications and music apps.
Overall Iâm pleased with the performance, RAM memory and SSD storage supplied as standard is very good. Battery life is surprising good. In-built speakers work well with nice sound quality. This Laptop is built well yet not heavy. BT linkage to DACâs is fast with lovely sound quality from streaming services.

Fantastic value laptop for the price!
Delighted with this new laptop: I’m far from an expert on computers, but even I found it straightforward to set up this laptop from taking it out of the box. The laptop seems the perfect size: thin and light for portability, with plenty of port options on the sides and a nice screen. Best of all, this machine is fast to start up and is very responsive when opening programs, etc.
I find the main keys a little on the ‘springy’ side for my taste, but not so much that it’s a concern.
Overall, a definite 5* for me given the amount of specification for the price.

Great machine, quiet sound
I’m loving this laptop, setting it up was a dream compared to my last one. This loaded up my 2 email addresses and everything. Picture quality is great but the only thing I dont like, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is the sound is not very loud. I watch the tv iPlayers on it and sometimes I cant understand what they are saying so I have to have subtitles on all the time. I might see if somone techy can fix this for me. Otherwise its a brilliant machine and well worth the price which I thought was very reasonable for a 16 GB machine
