decent enough
not a bad little laptop ( not entirely little ) not for gaming per say, but not what i bought it for.
First boot up takes an age to do, you really do need to connect to internet and Microsoft to setup ( you really shouldn’t need to )
simple to get out of windows 11 s mode ( take a few seconds on MS site )
upgraded it with a 1tb m.2 and 8 gig of memory to help it along 11 screws to take out underneath, you need to pry it open so be careful doing so , super light weight.
worth the money .

A good basic easy to use laptop. It isnât heavy and has a standard sized screen. Perfect for a first laptop

Nice little laptop, but a couple of issues
A nice little laptop. You will need to add an extra 4gb of ram into it – piece of cake to do, unscrew the back and insert. While you are there, you may wish to add an additional M.2 drive as well as the installed 64gb just isn’t enough. If you are like me, you’ll have plenty of spares to do this.
The big minus point on this is that it runs Windows S Mode – this is the safe mode version of Windows which doesn’t allow installation of anything unless it comes from Windows Store. You can get rid of it by going through the store, but if you don’t have a Microsoft account, you’ve got some geeky processes to go through to get shot – my preference is to completely reinstall Windows.
Anyway, nice little machine for the price.

Easy setup
Good looking laptop, nice wide screen for watching my favourite tv programmes on catch-up. Very easy for this 77 year old female to initialise and set up, all done in about 15 minutes, and no problems. Would be a bit heavy for constant carrying about, but maybe that’s because I’m an ancient weakling. One gripe – there are no warning lights to tell you when mains power is on, or caps lock has been applied., or the number pad is useable. Would be much improved with these

Acer Aspire 1 Laptop Computer (Windows 11 Home)
Very nice-looking laptop; so slim, but it actually feels quite weighty and well made. Easy to set up. All apps work well without any issues; takes just a few seconds to connect to the Internet. Ticks all the boxes. Great price and fast delivery (next day!). Would recommend.

Personally, not worth it.
I bought this to do college work where they use MS 365 which interferes no end with my “proper” PC’s Microsoft Office. It was a cheap price less than £200 (with MS 365 installed) but you would be better off with a higher spec refurbished one from a shop most of whom give 3 month warranties. It is slow, often very slow to start although very little on it, and not very inspiring.

Great value windows 11 s mode laptop.
Loads quickly, nice to use.
Only complaint is that the two usb sockets are too close to each other. Some usb’s won’t go in next to each other.
