Timely delivery. There were no missing parts. I transferred over 2,000 slides and had no problems. The picture quality is very good. Some reviews stated that picture quality was not as expected. Picture quality varies from quality of the slides, conditions of slides, how the slides were stored and the camera used. I am very pleased with my purchase and recommend it. Very easy to use. Also I transferred around 1,000 slides in two afternoons.

I’m impressed with this nicely designed unit. Compact with good features. Easy to use. Needs an SD card to store scans. It can work as a standalone unit with a AC to USB adapter, but if connected to a computer’s USB port, it can create a virtual drive on your PC making it easy to view and transfer scans.Default settings will work fine for most good quality images. Since I use photo software after scanning the image, I adjust the cropping to get all the frame. If you’re just using the scanner to produce a copy without further adjustment, the default cropping is fine. The color accuracy seems very good. I use the brightness adjustment for minor changes, but leave any other changes to my photo software. However you might be happy just using the adjustments on the scanner unit.I purchased a plastic storage box to keep it in between uses (Sterilite FlipTop Box 1803 from Amazon). Just the right size for dust free storage of the scanner and accessories.
