Troubleshooting Guide
A: When the microchip scanner fails to turn on
1. Long press the scan button 5-10s to see if the beeps and the screen lights up. If there is a beep and the screen lights up the machine is normal.
2. If there is no beep and the screen lights up, please use the free USB cable to connect the device for charging, connect the power supply and wait 1 minute and then try to long press the scanning button 5-10s to see if there is a beep and the screen lights up. If there is a beep and the screen lights up, the machine is normal.
3. If there is no response to long press after one minute of charging with the USB cable connected, Please make an after-sales request and we will follow up immediately.
B: When the microchip scanner fails to scan, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the cause
1. Check whether the number of microchips already inside the animal is 10 or 15 digits.
2. If you cannot confirm the specific number of digits on the microchip, please check with your veterinarian.
3. If the microchip is confirmed to be a non-10/15-digit microchip, such as a 9-digit AVID microchip, the scanner cannot scan that type of microchip, and it is not a machine failure.
4. If it is confirmed to be a 10/15-digit microchip and the pet scanner cannot scan, there is a machine failure. Please make an after-sales request and we will follow up immediately.
[Important Notes Must Read] – Note that if you purchase this product without confirming the format of your pet’s microchip, it may not be recognized. So please confirm whether this product is compatible with your pet’s microchip. This product only supports FDX-B/EMID microchips. It cannot recognize any other format of microchips. The number of FDX-B microchips is 15 digits. The number of EMID microchips is 10 digits.

Brilliant gadget that works very well
I foster a LOT of dogs and cats. We regularly have animals coming through our home and staying with us for a short while, until they find a permenant home with another loving family…We also rescue cats and other animals.As respinsible.parents to these poor animals., we like to do things right: we take down their chip numbers, names, breed, feeding and medication needs, write them to NFC tags and put these on their collars.Until we got this little gadget, we relied on the vet, previous owner or carer to pass.over the animals.chip number, but not anymore…Now we simply turn on the scanner, wait a few sexonds while it boots up, press the scan button and wave the reader over the animals approximate chipped area (neck, rump / rear end usually).It reads quickly, accurately and works every time.The display is crisp and clear, battery life is superb, the scanning is fast and easy working even from a few cm away. It’s a fantastic little tool and I recommend it for anyone wanting to scan pet chip IDs.

Great value and worked perfectly
Item was smaller than I expected but functioned perfectly. It was good value for money and worked well picking up microchips in horses. I was initially concerned the screen would be too small but it actually was perfectly readable and clear. I would happily recommend to others.

Scanned my dog and cat for this, baring in mind he is 16 so itâs an older microchip and my cat is 9 months old so a newer microchip. Worked straight away with ease and shown up instantly. Great value for money, and definitely good if you canât take your pet to the vets etc. I bought this originally to scan a stray cat which isnât microchipped!

Chipnummer punt nl fantastisch daar zoek je het op. Het werkt heel goed! Zeker het geld waard. Wou een zwerfkat die in onze tuin kwam wonen scannen, als dieren ambu hem ophaalt slapen ze hem in omdat het een oude kat is.

I have used it as soon as I received it and scanned the microchips of all my 7 dogs. That was perfect.I volunteer in an animal shelter, so last week I used the scanner on more than 300 animals.It worked without any problems.As expected, scanning 300 animals means that eventually you will run out of battery. I plugged it in on my phone charger (theough a usb cable with a wall fast charger), and on my battery pack (through a usb cable, again fast charging) and nothing happenned. I was about to write a very nasty review saying that all reviews that this device does not charge are true.As a last resort, I used the usb port on my laptop and it started charging. It also charges beautifully with a normal charger (not fast charging).In other words, this scanner charges with any normal charger, it is not comatible with fast charging. I wonder what type of charger was used by all the people complaining that their device was not charging…And as I said, it works beautifully, Excellent quality and value for money.
