Good product but NOT fan free (noisy)
Works fine as a switch on my home network. Was disappointed that it has a noisy fan as my intention was to have a fan free switch.Needed it urgently otherwise I would have returned it.Be careful with the Netgear and seller descriptions

Noisy fan
Bought for home use and was going to be installed in a home office. Powered on and immediately noticed fixed power fan running seemingly at full speed. I was only using POE to one AP using 9W and 8 of the ports. I hoped the fan might slow down after a while but it did not. Much louder than any other piece of computer equipment I own and would have been annoying.Would probably be ok in a busy office or a room that wasnât being used.Otherwise seemed solidly built and probably a good switch.

Very good switch however the fan is far to noisy for a home environment.

Lo tengo instalado en un Rack en una zona fresca y ventilada. Solo tiene la mitad de salidas ocupadas y ha dejado de funcionar, ha muerto.Si lo desconecto y vuelvo a conectar funciona 1 minuto y vuelve a morir.Me parece impresentable para un producto que vale casi 300â¬.

Afin de rationnaliser le réseau d’un siège d’exploitation d’une PME… top installation simple, efficace et qui permet de tout centraliser sur une seule machine. Pas besoin de tout configurer, la machine gère tout. Conclusion : moins de latence, moins de lags et un partage de la bande passante intelligent, raisonné et toujours très efficace. Un excellent routeur de distribution de 2ème niveau. Je suis conquis et en achèterai certainement d’autres pour le reste. Vraiment à acheter les yeux fermés !

Funktioniert wie es soll.Die Temperatur pendelt sich etwa bei 34 C ein.Ich habe trotzdem noch einen Extra Lüfter im Schrank für alle Fälle.Würde ich wieder kaufen.
