Why did I wait so long?!
I was dubious about this having tried all sorts of gadgets to enhance my WiFi signal. I live in a big old house with solid walls, we both work at home and our Virgin signal has been intermittent for the last 3-4 years. The final straw was the terrible black spots when installing external Blink cameras which were pretty useless – until I bought this mesh kit.Easy to set up, my blink cameras are now working in all 4 corners of the house and give me almost instant live views. Work video calls are now much more stable and I no longer have to resort to my phone data when using my phone upstairs. My ever cynical husband is gobsmacked that this has actually worked – I donât particularly know how it works but who cares – it does what it says on the tin and comes at a great price!

Not as powerful as the taller TP- Link units
I previously had the taller E4 units which were working fine but were limited to 100 mbps. These units work at a higher speed but the signal between the units is not as strong in my house with thick stone walls.

Easy to set up and makes a difference.
Made a massive difference to our WiFi. Being an old boy, who knows little about tech! Also live in a semi rural area where the best internet option is 5g. Had a range extender, which worked to a degree, but after talking to someone at work, they recommended a mesh system. As router is tplink, thought I would stay with the same brand. Simple set up. Download app, plug in first one and attach to router with internet cable. Then add each of the other two through the app. Simple and done in 10 minutes.WiFi is good in all other rooms now and seems constant and steady.Would recommend and Amazon refurbished is excellent value, looks brand new and the only difference is the packaging is plain.

great but mucks up sonos
really easy set up and 9 months stability but sonos got really mucked upin the end the answer was to plug a somos unit with an ethernet lead into the additional socket on a disc and set sonos up again

worst wifi device out there
By far one of the worst products I have ever purchased. Devices keep failing, the WiFi is slow and very poor range. After numerous failures I am changing to a different brand. As an installer I cannot keep running back to customers houses to sort out garbage products.

TP-Link Deco M5 provides excellent wifi
Having suffered from very poor wifi throughout my house and after having tried wifi range extenders, powerline extenders and so on I decided to go for a much more expensive but much better solution. After reading several reviews I found the TP-Link Deco M5 Mesh system came highly recommended. After installing it, siting it around the house but using the original wifi network name, I can’t say I was impressed that much. Then finding that I should have created the mesh wifi network with a different name instead, I changed it and the wifi performance improved dramatically. Despite thick walls, I now get fantastic wifi coverage at speeds of 200mbps everywhere, including my garage, the end of my garden (100ft) with no blackspots. I have 7 people in my household, many streaming music, tv and so on, multiple devices, I get fantastic performance everywhere. Well worth the money and with the extra security and management built in, I’d highly recommend these.

Easy
Very please with this bit of kit, none of the hassles typically experienced with extenders. Wish it has some kind of auto tune to declutter conflicting WiFi channels (you have to manually click this option) other than that Iâm very pleased
