Simple but incredibly useful for tracing and identifying cables
I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme free of charge for testing, and this review reflects my honest experience using it.I picked this up for a real-world troubleshooting job where there was effectively a bird’s nest of network cables spread across a fairly large site. The network had gone down in one building, and trying to trace the correct cable manually was not practical given the layout. Following cables physically or disconnecting things one by one would have taken far too long.This made the job straightforward. I connected the remote unit in the building with the issue, then went back to the main switch area and tested cables one by one. As soon as I found the correct line, the tester clearly indicated it, which allowed me to quickly identify the problem cable and get the network back up and running.Operation is very simple. It is essentially plug in and go, with clear LED indicators that make it obvious when you have the right cable. The detachable remote unit is particularly useful for longer runs or when you are working between different rooms or buildings.Build quality is basic but perfectly adequate for the job. It feels like a typical mid-range tool in this category, not premium, but solid enough for regular use. The included batteries mean it is ready to use straight away.Overall, this is a straightforward, effective tool that does exactly what it is supposed to do. If you ever need to trace or identify network cables, especially over longer distances or in more complex setups, this makes the process much quicker and far less frustrating.

Great little time saving tool
Great little tool – works perfectly and gives me confidence in my new network!I bought the TESMEN TLP-123A for some CAT6 home network wiring projects, and it’s been a fantastic. You can obviously test the continuity of cables and whether they are wired correctly. Once you know your cables are correct, you can then use those cables to connect to socket outlets to make sure that those sockets are also wired correctly and that is exactly what I did.It has given me total confidence in my new network installation.It is incredibly easy to use – even if you’re not an IT pro. Within seconds, I could check for shorts, opens, and miswires on my RJ45 cables and sockets. I can also in the future test any RJ11 sockets and cables if i wish.The adjustable test speed is a nice touch, and the LED indicators are bright and clear, so there’s no guesswork. I also love the detachable remote unit – it let me test long runs through walls and wall ports without any hassle and the need for extra long cables. The build feels solid but lightweight, and it even came with 2 Duracell batteries.Whether you’re a professional or just setting up your home office, this tester boosts efficiency big time. I Highly recommend this little unit!

Für wenig Geld gibt es ein Messgerät, mit dem man seine Netzwerkkabel auf Funktion überprüfen kann. Das Gerät lässt sich teilen : Das kleine Gerät kommt auf das eine Kabelende. Das große Gerät, mit den Steuertasten, auf das andere Kabelende. So kann man das Netzwerk auch in verschiedenen Räumen testen. Einschalten, Testgeschwindigkeit, langsam oder schnell wählen und alle 9 Testlampen leuchten nacheinander auf und dokumentieren die Kabelfunktion.Kaufempfehlung !!!
