Nice finish and colour, but poor spooling
4-Jan: I got the space grey and it’s great, prints fast and has less shine to it than the usual PETG’s. Prints lovely at 235°C. Trouble is, every 20m or so the filament gets stuck, it’s very sadly poorly wound. If you are doing smaller parts or can live with the restarts and the artefacts this leaves then it’s great value for money. Dropped two stars as it really is every 20m or so!6-Jan Update: Elegoo reached out to further understand my problem and to put things right, it was totally unexpected and I should 100% confirm that they have not asked or encouraged me to alter my review at all but I feel it is worth mentioning this extra attention to their customers as it is so hard to find in 2025! Well done Elegoo. Increased to 4 stars for the excellent customer service of my own free will!

Worked well in my ENDER 3 PRO
This filament stands out for its remarkable quality, especially given its competitive price point, making it an excellent option for both beginners and experienced users in the 3D printing community.As a relatively novice 3D printing enthusiast, I’ve had my share of experiences with PET filament, but I quickly realized that specific adjustments were necessary to achieve the best results when slicing the file. To optimize the print quality, I decided to raise both the build plate temperature and the printing temperature. After several attempts, I was thrilled with the outstanding results that emerged from these modifications.I should also mention that I upgraded my build plate prior to these adjustments. This change might have affected the overall printing process, emphasizing the need to evaluate all aspects of your equipment when working with new materials. My experience underscores the importance of experimenting with different settings to achieve optimal outcomes in your 3D printing projects.

Zeer goed en voordelig PETG filament. Het levert me steeds mooie en stevige prints op. Ik heb al menig rolletje Elegoo filament verbruikt en tot op heden geen problemen gehad.

Ich habe schon viele verschiedene Filamente über die Jahre verbraucht.In der Farbe Weiss habe ich Geeetech, Jayo, Eryone, und eben Elegoo.Jayo und Eryone haben vergleichsweise wenig weiße Farbpigmente und daher einen etwas durchsichtigen Farbton. Das sieht mE nicht sehr schön aus, wenn man z.B. etwas rein weißes drucken will.Geeetech hat auch ein schönes Weiß, hat manchmal Einschlüsse mit verbrannten Verfärbungen, so kleine braune Flecken hin und wieder.Einzig Elegoo Rapid PETG hat das schönste, satte weiß und lässt sich auch sehr gut drucken.Druckbetthaftung ist auch sehr gut.Die Rollen kommen zudem immer auf Papprollen aufgewickelt, was umweltfreundlicher ist.Im 4er Pack zudem das günstigste.Zudem für hohen Fluss optimiert. Habe damit keine Probleme, auch wenn Vollgas gedruckt wird am Voron 2.4 Klon.
