Get your life back on track!
This is a great watch! It is much improved on my previous garmin. It’s smoother, easier to navigate and the battery life is amazing.I bought this one for myself, and the smaller version for my wife, and she loves it.Back in 2018 she got an iwatch and I got the Garmin Vivoactive 3. They were life changing at the time, as we were very active in the gym and outside. It was clear that my wife preferred many of the functions on my watch that the iwatch didn’t have, although hers did look much better. My Garmin had battery issues back in 2021 and the iwatch screen got a crack in it last year (2024).So, a few years on, we are less active and want to get back to it. But I lacked the motivation. Then I remembered how I used to monitor my sleep, heart rate and training sessions on the watch and thought…maybe a new smart watch will give me the get up off the sofa I need.So I researched the best smart watches of 2024 & 2025…and this one kept coming up.So I bought two (2), the smaller stylish one for my wife and this larger one, for me.They are brilliant, the Garmin App is much improved too, much easier to record my gym sessions. This watch can monitor your HRV, it can provide a sleep coach, it’s is sleek and stylish, and is better at dealing with messages and calls.I highly recomment this watch!

Not cheap but totally worth it
I have been using fitness bands for the last few years to track my daily routine and my occasional outdoor exercises (cycling and hiking mostly).I wanted to have a watch instead of a band and tried some Fitbit devices but they were too buggy. I mulled over this watch for a long time due to the price, but to be honest, once I got it, I can honestly say it’s the perfect one for me.I use it all day and night to track my daily routine and sleep. Body battery is accurate since when it shows being close to 0, I really do feel like my energy is gone completely. Morning reports on the watch are a nice touch to get a quick feel of what your sleep quality was and also what’s in store for the day ahead.Never had any issues with the watch during exercises, the data it captures is accurate and very detailed. The mobile app is really good and the connection to the watch is seamless, never have I struggled to sync anything (hear this Fitbit?). Battery life is about 1 week when doing 4-5 exercises that use GPS too, so pretty good. You have access to some default watch faces, get some from the store or even design your one.To be honest, I’ve recommended this watch to friends that wanted a smart watch, since although it’s from Garmin, you don’t have to be an athlete to use one.

Good price, has all the options needed
Firstly, the wtch looks good, isn’t too big and chunky (or too small and weedy).I’m still setting up the watch to suit the configurations that I want day-to-day – but I’m very happy with my putchase. V accurate GPS, great features, especially the body battery and general well-being features. I recommend.

Easy to use, great charge life, looks good, great performance
Its been 10 days since I am using the new Venue 3 continuously and the battery is still 24% charged, so thatâs quite satisfying for me. Smartwatch is very responsive compared to my previous Fitbit Versa 3, the watch size and display is nice and looks good. Lot of choice on watch faces, yet to explore all options. I like the stress, intensity and body battery features. Only gripe is that it doesnât record workouts unless I explicitly add that activity. As I said, need to explore the activities options in more detail. Also, the Garmin Pay doesnât work with my current bank credit cards (Amex, Barclaycard), which is a shame. Overall, quite satisfied so far with this watch.

Massive improvement over my 4yr old Garmin vivoactive 3
I love its long battery life and brilliance and clarity of its display. It has loads of features, a lot of the which I’m not going to use, but for monitoring my sleep and health and my walks it is such an improvement over my old watch. I agonised for months over its purchase and when I saw its price dip under £400 again I made the move that I should have done months ago. I wanted an altimeter for my walks which ruled out some of the alternatives and I must say that it seems to work better than the one on my Vivoacive 3. It cost a lot more than the old Vivoactive 3 but so far it seems well worth it and I am discovering more features and using them every day (l only had it 5 days ago)

Not much of an improvement over the Venu 2 plus
I have enjoyed using a Venu 2 plus for several years. It had some imperfections, especially with regard to sleep tracking and the assistant feature but on the whole I liked it a lot. I decided to upgrade to the Venu 3 recently as it had several enhancements to the interface and came in a bigger size. I was particularly interested in the nap feature, as I get a lot of my sleep that way and wanted it all to be accurately recorded. Unfortunately my hopes in this regard were dashed, as it very rarely noted that I had had a nap and even when it did it only gave the alleged duration of the nap. In some cases, if the nap were fairly late in the day, it would be added to the night’s sleep data but you would then be got at for having a restless night. In addition the body battery seems a lot worse than the Venu 2 plus version, as it was always saying my battery was depleted to the extent that I would be bound to have an arduous day. And as for the sleep coach this was just laughable as it was suggesting I should sleep for about two hours more than my norm in order to be able to function during the day – all very annoying and not at all true. The final straw is that the enhancements, if that is what they are, over the Venu 2 plus are mostly software related and there seems be no reason why the Venu 2 plus could not be updated with the new interface, which I do rather like. The display is really good, as is the battery life and the fitness tracking is excellent but then it is just as good on the Venu 2 plus, so the upgrade seems pointless taking all into consideration.Fianlly the price is excessive at over £400.

Garmin Venus 3
I have had a few smart watches , including Apple Watch , the Garmin Venus 3 is the best for battery life and all functions I need

I used to be an “All In” Apple fan until the last couple of years when they really started going downhill. My daughter had started doing research on Garmin and told me about all the wonderful selling points on it, and I just couldn’t believe it! I went with the Venu 3 in the men’s version instead of the women’s version because it gave me a bigger watch face. I wear reading glasses and want to be able to see it without having to put my glasses on for the smaller selections that I would need to see. Let me tell you what I found as a new Garmin convert!First of all I wasn’t sure if it was going to like the round face as opposed to the square face, but I actually love it more. It took a couple of days to get used to the different ways of doing things, but once I understood how it worked I find I really like it more. The bottom button is kind of like your “go to” button on the right side of your watch. This button is your “back” button that you hit to go back a screen and finally end up at your Home Screen. If you want to record an activity or access one of your apps then you would press the top button. If you want to do an activity, you press the one that you want on the screen, and then you would press the button on the top to start it. To pause the activity or restart it you would press the top button again. If you want to delete the activity for whatever reason then there is a trash can on the top of the screen that you tap, it will take you to the next screen and you can either confirm that you want to delete it with the top side button, or you can go back because that is not what you want to do with the bottom side button. If you want to change your watch face, record an alarm or stop watch, or go to settings then you would long press the bottom button. It will give you the choice of “Watch Face”, “Clocks”, or “Settings”. if you go into one and that is not what you want then you simply press the bottom button again to go back to the previous screen. Garmin gives you some really neat watch faces to choose from, or you even get the option of customizing one of your own.One thing I have to mention is how long the battery lasts! I was used to my battery draining by the end of the day, or way before if I was recording any activity. However, with my watch I can record activity or not and I can still have a ton of battery power left by the end of the day. When I don’t record anything I will normally have about 92% left from a full charge. I decided to do a test to see how long I could go before I really needed to recharge my watch. I didn’t Not record activity for this little test of mine because I wanted to get a fair assessment of how well it would work for me. By the 5th day I was at like 45% when I finally decided to that the Garmin was going to win in this stand off. I came to the conclusion that if I went on a week’s vacation that I wouldn’t need to bring my charger with me.I went with the Venu 3 because I wanted the ability to answer calls and read emails, while also being able to record activities. I still need to figure out how to turn up the volume on my watch when I am talking on it so I can better hear when someone is talking to me. Other than the volume thing, it is pretty straightforward on how to answer it.I included a picture of how the watch looks on my wrist as a woman with a small to medium frame. I love it and highly recommend it.I really love this watch and I am super glad that I went with the Venu 3!
